    Feign Death will come, a fair level is probably in the upper 20's? Hopefully with a massive readjust to experience rezzes.

    I also support regents(!) for many things.

    I do hope they allow the necro pets to NOT LOSE the gear they equip upon death.. if they removed that part defiantly not interested anymore :/

    Any planned buffs to Necro? This is by far the worst class I have tried so far. Incredibly painful.

    Agreed.. the mana cost of every is absurd and the med time to full mana is absurd

    I think summoner should get summon player. Necro summon corpse. I would also like to see all of the armor spells for the summoner lumped together and give them some more abilities. They really don't have much in the way of abilities. Just summon pet gear and a nuke. And every piece of gear is a different spell. Summoner needs more abilities. Necro pet needs to be better, Too weak. No agro generation. And if you can gear the pet with armor, what armor can they wear? Since they don't have a class, and the armor doesn't say, how are we supposed to know? Some tooltips would be nice. Summoner and necro should be similar pet classes with differing spells and pets. Necro pets should progress to different types of non-intelligent undead as you levl up. Summoner should get nukes. Necro dots. Dots should more damage than nukes overall for the mana cost because often the damage will fall off because the mob dies too fast. The advantage of nukes is that they can crit and burst. They rarely have over-damage. The other reason dots should do more damage is because, unlike nukes, you can't just recast them to do more damage. They just over-write. Nukes can be spammed. Or, let dots stack so we can cast multiples of the same dot on a mob. Necro should get a rez at higher level, but it should be a very basic rez. Summoner pets should have classes with abilities, which I kind of think they do. Necro do too, but higher level. Not sure if the pets get abilities though. They should, based on their class. Maybe 1-10 they have a basic no-class pet. No abilities, wear up to leather armor, use limited weaponry. Next pet should be tank. They should not get a heal pet, like the summoner. Or, do like EQ2 did and give the necro buffs they can put on their pet, like the summoner gets now, that will change the role/class they are.

    I am at 15 on Necro and this is about where the necro starts getting playable. Before that it is a real struggle. My biggest concern about this early build of the game is that my pet is allowed to equip gear, but no stats pull in from it. So what is the point? If Necro pets are not supposed to wear gear then please just remove the option. If they are supposed to wear gear please implement the stats from the gear. Even if it is an early build there should be some clarity as to the function of pets so people do not become accustomed to something only to have it viciously removed at launch. I am in the group that WANTS pet armor and weapons and i want the gear to persist thru death.

    @kreed99

    Necro was long a 'stretch' class the same as Bard. But in 2024 in the months before opening EA, the Devs decided that they really wanted a 2nd Support/CC class available, so they hurried to get Necro functional and into the game. Around the time that they patched Necro into the Game, they told us that since its pet needed a UI to control it and use its abilities, they had saved development time by 'borrowing' the Pet UI from Summoner class to use for Necro. And that while the Summoner's UI allowed the Necro pet to have gear, they ultimately did not intend for the that pet to wear gear and it would get it's own proper UI before Release.

    Much info has come out in the last year due to Joppa streaming weekly, so I may well have missed a change in the plan. That said, I am not aware of anything said by a Dev that changes the above info, so I'm just letting you know what was originally said by VR on this subject in case you didn't hear it before.
