We heard their will be "alerting mobs", but will their also be mobs that will fight you regardless of level and encourage others to fight with him, and also will their be npc's that are holding lanterns and such to catch people that are invisible or sneak pass them.
How do you locate a quest? I understand you want it to be part of the perception system but can you give us a solid example of how this will play out in game? I'd really like to see the text of a typical quest, will they be as cryptic as EQ1? I realise that is three questions but I guess it will need one answer.
Thx Kilsin. This may have been answered. Does VR plan to prevent expansions from easing gameplay over time in Pantheon? I have seen this trend drastically change some mmorpg's; not necessarily change for the better. #communitymatters

They showed this in a video with a woman crying I believe and the perception system made you realize there was someone to talk to and once you did went through a series of conversations and went on your way to complete the quest. It's a pretty old video I couldn't even tell you what the video was even more about believe it came out towards the end of 2016 or beginning 2017 though

One step at a time Syrif lol, we haven't gotten to alpha stage yet I'm sure making an expansion is a bit aways, though I do hope the expansion don't do what wow did where you went raiding for 2 years in original and the expansion greens at the beginning destroyed what you were wearing, really made a ton of people mad.
How subtle can the perception system get, will my appreaciation for exploring every knook and cranny of the world pay off?
For example: if I am a Monk, and find a tree on top of cliff and on that tree carved in the trunk is an animal form that I can meditate on and practice; eventually learning a new abilty.
Does *any unnamed company* have trademarks on names of specific items from EQ? Journeyman’s Boots, Box of Abu-Kar, as examples? If not, could we be looking at seeing one or two throwbacks to some iconic items from your work on classic EQ?

I actually think this is a really important question. So many games start out good and then over time, through expansions, become top-heavy and unfriendly/unfulfilling to newer players. The essence of what made that game great is lost along the way. So I'd love to see this addressed more directly, probably in a Brad post, since it deals with the Grand Vision.
As for my own burning question, it's really hard to pick just one, but here's one that's important:
Many MMO players have only ever known games where there experience was tightly protected and controlled. Instancing, quest paths, linear dungeons, group finders, and fast progression are all things that are antithetical to the vision for Pantheon. We know (or we're pretty sure) that Pantheon is going to be an awesome game, but it's going to be a lot different from what these players are used to. How can Pantheon help ease "mainstream" MMO players into the cooperative, exploration-based sandbox experience, so that they learn how amazing it can be, instead of being immediately put off just because it's unfamiliar to them.
Apologies if that question doesn't make sense. I really should go make coffee before I get on the forums in the mornings.
