All I'm saying is that the current games are basically shells of what MMO's used to be and it has gotten worse and worse over the years. The proof is in the pudding. Some of the MMO's are fun, but I haven't found the longevity I once experienced. As the games got easier and easier, I lost interest faster and faster. That's not to say there aren't good innovations either. There definitely are and it's true that some things work better in one game, but maybe not the other.
Hordes (no pun intended) of players saying they hate having to travel to dungeons and LFG and next thing you know, there's group finder tools. Now, you don't even need to be on the same server to group with others, let alone actually move to an area and find a group. All sorts of examples like this over the years. All one has to do is read the various forums and play the games.
There's a reason why WoW is the great benchmark and everyone tries to copy them. But they almost all fail. Why?
