I should as "Player" but I did donate during the kickstarter and again one the new website launched.  I've been reassured a couple times that I will have alpha-testing access once it is released.

Reht I am pretty sure I read somewhere that those of us who pledged to a certain pledge type that doesn't exist we KEEP ALL perks that offered.  I will look around and see if I can find it again.  The change is there were some perks offered on all those early pledges that they have recently removed but said those who had pledged before the change would keep those removed perks as well.

Yes, i was also told in a PM that i might lose perks if i went to a higher tier as i already stated:

I would check with Kilsin first, he told me i might lose some other perks if i upgrade from my pledge.  Better to be safe than sorry.

WOW that doesn't even make sense.  I have to be honest I have een putting off giving more money because of my concerns about how fractured this pledging seems to be.

Probably because there was a bridge pledge from the original KS that gave internal testing access for significantly less than the newer VIP tiers that include pre-alpha.  Once you move into a new tier from that tier, you take a huge step backwards in the perks until you hit the VIP tiers.  They would have to rework the tier systems for a second set of tiers that were only for those of us who had these special bridge pledges, kind of like what Camelot Unchained did with Founders and Backers, or some other method.  Probably way more work than it's worth for few (assumption) of us who have these pledges.

Hi all!  Hopefully this will help somewhat.  This is a quote from Kilsin in this thread:

    http://www.pantheonmmo.com/content/forums/topic/2470/refund-policy-pledge-and-subscription-update

"for anyone else wondering, nothing has changed, we honour all prior pledges as we have always stated, only now instead of forum subs counting towards pledges (which were never meant to happen) you can now manually upgrade with any amount to get the pledge you want.

$1-lifetime sub is now free and you can upgrade and keep it if you like.

Pledges all have a special upgrade option to a higher pledge, removing the confusion or unnecessary over or under payments.

If you upgrade, please consider it carefully, as you do not carry older prior rewards (other than lifetime sub) to new pledges, so the new revamped pledges may not be an actual upgrade for you, so check to make sure it is actually worth your while upgrading as some of the older benefits are far better as we wanted to show our appreciation for the longer serving community members."

To prove I'm a glutton for punishment, as Support has been incredibly overwhelmed since the Twitch stream, those who need a specific clarification or answer, please submit a Support ticket and I'll get to it as quickly as I possibly can.  Many of these issues can be fixed manually.  Thanks for your patience! :)

You're doing an awesome job Blue! :)

Please don't hesitate to PM me for any questions you may have to help take some of the load off Blue, but just keep in mind that any account changes will need to go through a support ticket so we can log the changes and keep record of them.
