Checking pledge?

How do I know where my account stands?  I backed this on KS and then donated to the website all that time ago and I have no idea where to see my account status and/or what it means in terms of rewards.

Yeah, mine doesn't show up either and some of us have pledges that aren't on the list; pledges that were made before they changed their tiers, etc.

I just pledged myself a one time amt, but I also want to do a regular monthly pledge. Do I just switch my plege to a monthly amt, but still get the benefits of the one time pledge as well?

I can only see mine now under the Join -> Current Suscribers: Please click here to upgrade link.  After clicking the link it'll show what I'm currently subscribed to.  I did the one-time fee though, not sure how the subscription would have worked.

I sent my Kickstarter Pledge E-mail with the re-pledge to these forums as confirmation to Kilsin a long time ago also.

I've done the same thing. Yeah, but it comes up whatever subscription/pledge you last purchased. They can still see your original pledge too.. it's always there.. it's just they aren't displaying them both.. only the "last one" you purchased. Watch out for those forum permissions tho.. I dont think they stack, the last purchases overrides the one before sorta thing... and the lesser subscription visability remains even if they then upgrade to a better pledge I think too. So it's taking subscriptions over/regardless of pledge permissions. Something like that anyway.

You can fix it by contacting support. Might be awhile tho as they might be spammed due to new pledges from the livestream etc.

I sent the same info to Joppa Kilsin, but i don't see it listed; mine just says player.

The monthly sub doesn't add up anymore to pledge totals, it's paying for developer forum posting priviledges or more exclusive forum access: champion/vip forums (used to be called apprentice developers - not sure if that title still stands).

If you did a one-time fee and want to upgrade it to a higher for the pledge rewards, you need to upgrade it by paying another lump sum fee, not, the monthly subscription.  So, if you pledge 100 and wanted to get to the 300 tier, you'd have to upgrade the difference of $200.  If that doesn't make sense you could always shoot Kilsin a PM.

Kilsin also discusses it in this announcement:

Gotcha - definitely an error then.  Mine lists it at my pledge level

So we can safley pay the monthly forum fee and keep our no-longer-available Pledge, correct?

I would assume so as it's not tallied toward a pledge anymore, but, I've never seen anyone ask that question.  That would be one that I'd wait for Kilsin's clarification.  I think where the issue occurs either way though is if you paid say $5 per month (general forums posting level) after pledging at your champion-level lump sum pledge, that the most recent subscription or pledge trumps the other.  At that point, Kilsin or another CS rep would have to manually re-grant you champion forum level access.

My account also says "player" with no designation.

I would check with Kilsin first, he told me i might lose some other perks if i upgrade from my pledge.  Better to be safe than sorry.

I believe the issue with the pledge not showing up is a known one. Kilsin posted about it in another thread a couple months ago. Like was said above, if your pledge doesn't show up properly on the site, contact them, but there's no issue with the pledge itself. They have the right pledges, the site just isn't working to update them yet.

Just click on Setting/Subscription and when you go the page at the top you will see this (This is mine as an example)

    Subscription

The plan you are currently subscribed to is: Patron's Pledge
You are currently paying: One-time fee of $150.00

then underneath you have the options to do other pledges.

Not everyone is seeing what you are seeing, which is the point of the OP.  This is what i see, and i pledged the first day the site went live.

The plan you are currently subscribed to is: Player
    You are currently paying: Free

I also have this issue. It doesn't show what I've pledged, or what level it is. On a subscription, I thought I remember hearing that whatever your total donation adds up to is what your rank is, but there is nothing that shows this.

    Kilsin actually said

    Forum Subscriptions:

-We are giving a 1-month extension from the date of this announcement for community members who already have active subscriptions and who wish to contribute more manually to reach a pledge level that they were building towards.

That says you can "build" towards a higher pledge level via subscription.

Not anymore, which was the point of his post that you quoted. They were giving 1 more month of that working. The monthly sub use to count towards your pledge, it no longer does. A monthly sub now provides its own benefits but does not add to your pledge level.

The point is that people upgraded their pledge and that page does not reflect the change. I went from Knight to Adviser and that page still says Knight.

Hmm.... yea I am sorry about that guys I got nothing for that I just thought the OP wasn't sure where to find it.  I did contact help support asking if I started a monthly giving option if that would add t my current and the answer was no.  Not sure if that helps either.

Another thing i wish they would reconsider is allowing those of us who pledged really early on to keep all our perks for our original pledges (which don't exist in the new tiers) if we contribute more by moving into a new "new" tier from our old original tier.  I might consider donating more in the future, but not if i am going to lose perks.

I upgraded my pledge and had the same issue. Opened a ticket on the support page and they fixed it within a couple of hours. So just open a ticket and it'll be all good.

Reht I am pretty sure I read somewhere that those of us who pledged to a certain pledge type that doesn't exist we KEEP ALL perks that offered.  I will look around and see if I can find it again.  The change is there were some perks offered on all those early pledges that they have recently removed but said those who had pledged before the change would keep those removed perks as well.

Well at least I'm not alone then, lol.  I just wanted to make sure my account is ready for when we are able to dig into alpha/beta (in a few years time XD) after seeing the stream.
