I have been RPG'ing since I did dial up sessions of Zork on the Pentagon's BBS back in 1980. As CanadianXegony states, I'll be gaming until I am dragged away from the keyboard, if the last 38 years since I got Pong for my black and white TV are any indication. :) Marriage, job, mortgage, tutoring all bite into my playtime, but some part of every week, until they put me in the ground, will be spent playing a video game.
Your light went out. You have been eaten by a Grue.
We really need a like button on these forums lol. +1 for the Zork reference.
35 yr old from the US and began MMOs with EQ in beta and played for many years. Fully intent on diving head first into Pantheon the second we can get in.
Seems like the large majority here on the forums are in the 30+ club. Not all that surprising honestly. What is more surprising to me is that some are early 20s. Most of the younger crowd has the entitlement issues that plague so many of todays games. Glad to see that it isn't all of them. Gives me hope for my kid lol.
Married, 27 Year old Male. Just moved to Florida from California. Just bought a beautiful home for the first time. Three girls and we are thinking about maybe a fourth... we'll see.
I work as an Engineer for a healthcare company. Before that worked on Linear Accelerators.
Started EQ when I was 12 or 13, so around 2001 or 2002 I think. Loved it! Only ever played Rogue and plan on playing Rogue in Pantheon.
Looking forward to calling Pantheon my new home when it arrives! Until then, pursuing an additional Bachelor's degree.
Female of the older sort, here. Gamer since the 80's. My first 'puter was a Commodore 64 :) . My first arcade game was the Atari Star Wars one. Ahhh, the beauty of vector graphics.
I was playing multiplayer Star Wars game, when a friend of mine there insisted I try Everquest. I'm so glad he did! I do like single player games, too. But I do need a community setting to really enjoy myself.
I'm 32 and my husband is 37.

I'm 47 and a software engineer currently working in ecommerce. Came from the table top genre into EQ1 back in 1999.
Have been an avid gamer since I was like 10. Coding interesting things is my other video game, since about 13.
