I have a home and a family (closing in on being an empty nester in a couple of years - which I am NOT looking forward to... because I love having my kids around).
While I gamed before it - EQ was my first MMO. The game hooked me on the genre. REALLY looking forward to Pantheon!
33 as of tommorow. Male, I work for the US federal government Army DoD IT Specialist. Live in KY. been playing mmos since the dawn of time. first one i really spent time on was the realm back in 93, eq, vanguard, shadowbane, eq2, wow, ffxiv, horizons empire of istaria, archeage. I've palyed all the ones inbetween butr those were the most prevelant for time invested. married 14 yrs, 3 kids 13, 9 and 6 all gamers by heart other than the wife!
Admit to a double entity. Manouk is primarily 28, Female- looks just like an EQ Erudite without the high forehead. Manouk is secondarily a 51yr old male, looks like a EQ barbarian and is in love with my mom. He introduced me to EQ, thinking it might be fun and to share a point of reference. I got "hooked". It was his 'n moms solution to possible internet predator security measure then, and since then for all our on-line gaming it has become the defacto standard. His name is on eveything, he pays, we use. :)
44 year old stay-at-home dad of two girls, 6 (almost 7) and 4, living outside of Houston, Texas. Both of 'em love to play games and watch (or sometimes control characters in) mmos. The oldest always wants to "make a girl" so I'll probably have a female character or two in Terminus. :)
I started with Asheron's Call and moved over to EQ sometime before Velious, played all the big ones since then including (but not limited to :) ) DAoC, EQ2, WoW, VG, GW2 and Archeage. Would love to make Pantheon a long term home. Maybe still playing it at 50? :)
45 here with 6 years of constant dealing with “twitch” gaming and the Pay To Win I would rather deal with this. . .
Sketchy vendor: we all knew E commons, it was how you bought things, it was down to earth, and great. You had to trust …or call out the vendor.
Meditating: Yes gems: was fun, but all of us got wtfpwnd by a sand giant while meditating.
Envy: watching a skillful bard doing whatever he could do and outskillin you
Faith: watching a cleric do a corpse run and paying for it.

Farming the Eyepatch of Plunder: it was fun however you got the problem with kill stealers.
Question: did you ever drop loot on a mob out of your xp area? I remember when I started… my elf killed bees/or wasps in the starting area. Someone was nice enough to put a magical whip on it…hell I used it for about 20 levels.
A Chanter who could pull as well as a monk or bard.
Falling down a hole and everything around you is + 10 levels and asking guild for help.
Calling a gamer friend: at 3 AM yes its late however, if your epic weapon item spawns …WE NEED It. Thank you for click stick

For all of you that did not get to participate in the last Age Poll we had, or did not get to see it... it was a quite remarkable graph/poll. Almost a perfect bell curve from 17 ~ 60+ years of Age, with the majority at 35'ish age.
The poll was in 10 increments of 9 years, I believe. I will have to look at my notes. But I am sure they still have the data.

39 years old male from louisiana. I am a roughneck ( work on drilling rigs ) been doing it since i got out of the Marine Corps in 99 . Started playing EQ at launch after playing the beta at a friends house. Played EQ untill i got in Vanguard beta . Played VG until sunset and every other MMO out there since. Met my wife playing Vanguard. We have 2 boys 7 and 2 . We are both looking for a new MMO to call home and VGEMU.
