I may start playing regularly if these very simple things were in game lol. Not having /follow in a game that requires following others to stay in a group 99% of the time is awful when a game session lasts for several hours - because that means you can only lose focus (or otherwise step away from your PC) for 1% of the time for several hours if you don't want to burden everyone else you're playing with.

I support the lack of follow, I don't mind if you want to box, but I do mind covertly covering that argument by using arguments like this; I'm not saying that "You just want to box," but I am saying that lots that do want to use "Arguments" just like this as support.
I have a family, I do not like streaming (or Discord, personally), and I do not support /follow.
I don't really play when I can't focus and I turn down groups all the time in favor of afk farming because of this. You can do the same.
To mitigate these issues and balance familial needs with optimal play, I tend to camp or naturally gravitate my character toward the stuff I'd like to do when I'm able to properly devote the attention my (hopefully!) future group or the group I plan to create or participate in deserves! There are many tricks you learn that'll help with this!
But the lack of /follow is Certainly not

/Follow is already in the game, just not activated for players as a usable command. Its literally how pets follow their caster.
I also want the devs to add in the everything will aggro when you sit to rest like EQ, but we get what we get. /follow wont break the game but expand the number of testers. VR needs money, can only run accounts you paid for...
The lack of follow will not, in any way, hinder boxing with auto run already existing. I for one would /follow every time I went AFK on EQL/P99. I would also like to /follow so I can deal with the baby, dog, RR, whatever when we are moving with a group over a large area.
If someone really wants to box, they will have their characters pre-planned and camped in an area to minimize the run beforehand. The boxer's end game is loot camps. That's where they do the most damage. Preventing multiple people from obtaining loot and maintaining a monopoly. Lack of /follow doesn't help this situation.
Samboah, Ive never seen them state anything that insinuated multi boxing was not allowed.
If you don't want to box, don't box?
Many people have enjoyed boxing oldschool games since EQ, DAOC, etc. and simply won't play Pantheon at all if they can't box. Myself included. Creating many alts and combinations of groups and finding ways to solo content is a hobby I've enjoyed for decades.
The multiboxing community has a forum with 20,000+ members who were hyped for a new game when Pantheon was first announced and Brad said outright that multiboxing would be allowed. It was only after new management took over all the anti-boxer bias began.
This isn't a PvP game. Other people boxing has no impact on you whatsoever. Let other players enjoy the game they way they enjoy it.
