I posted in Kilsin's stream post... but some cool observations I made were that the Heavy Plate glove Cohh picked up said "Cleric, Warrior, Paladin, Bard" so it looks like the Bard will wear heavy armor.   (And Cohh's longsword was useable by Wizard)

Gnashura dropped a Fadesteel longsword (a common item). Not usable by Wizard. They have not added loot to Gnashura yet.

Bard can wear plate, so far.

everything is cool, great work guys/devs/guys  one thing still bothers me,

the mobs that occupy the same space, they shouldnt, they should stand one near the other, not one on top of the other...

Might just be my general ignorance/lack of experience of such games, but the lack of instancing concerns me a little. Clearly it's fine when there is just the dev group running around, but I'm not sure what it would be like with a dungeon crammed with everyone and their mother pulling mobs hither and thither.

If only another game had tried this that we could look back on and see how it worked.

Ahh right - I never played Everquest, so I just assumed it was the norm in that MMO. I can't remember now if most of Guild Wars was not instanced, though my memories of that were it was total chaos most of the time.

"Cohh's longsword" was useable by Wizard, not the fadesteel one.

I really enjoyed Coh's stream today for many reasons.

    1) Coh and Myra enthusiasm

    2) Brasse roleplay talent

    3) Many game improvements (animations, spells, light effects)

    4) Complex and challenging fights (although it was pretty easy due to their high level and group set up, I do appreciate the design route Joppa is taking into designing encounter with Named Boss, ...)

But what I enjoyed the most was that hidden mystery area behind Gnashura room. I like how much efforts are put in the details by Joppa and the team like the beautiful music. I am looking forward to unveiling the mystery of that human being captive in that cave. Perhaps to be sacrificed? Time to get that perception skill up and go investigate!

I don't think Brasse was roleplaying - I think she is a dwarf IRL LOL.

Shouldn't be too surprising to see wizard able to use certain swords...it's been on their class page since last summer:

    Certain One-Handed Edged

    Certain Shields

Maybe I am reading into it too much

It seemed to me the dwarven faces were basic faces- like he kind you would see at character select upon which you could apply and tweek characteristics. I was suprised Brasse did not have a beard but I am sure that will come later. I also noticed the same with the Ogre, the same kind of look and maybe the ponytail was a last minute addition. With all the talk about graphics I am assuming we might be pleasantly suprised with the depth of detail in the avatars, at one point I saw a strand of hair tussle out of place on Brasse's head. a. strand.

I completely ignored the surroundings until ben called out the lighting, I was "there"  i was focused more on the characters and the fight and keeping a side-eye on poor Myra, then I realized Joppa was doing that and of course Brasse was there, so I relaxed.

I also liked that it was not a true quarternity which was nice. I look forward to many "sub-optimal" groups as being the norm for PuGs.

FOr the warrior I liked how Cohh paused just long enough over the skills and abilities to give an idea to what it did and then used it. The banners seem cool.

Seeing everyone slowed on the boss fight and Aradune not being able to grab one of the adds while it beat on Myra because he was slowed and myra being low on mana made me nervous.  I thought it was great.

The W.I.P animations on climbing and warrior skills was very interesting- to me it added just the right amount of drama to the expression of the skill. Instead of flashy animations to the "move" I see a drama or a level of theater added to the "move" . In other words to me those animations make the skill move mean something, instead of the move being just flashy and cool looking.

I am happy with the deadly RNG aspect of lightning. I would like to know if it is just as deadly to NPC's. I could see some skin-of-the-teeth saves if you were being chased by a monster and you notice its lightining and the hair stands on the back of your neck indicating an imminent strike and you pause just long enough for the monster to get close and if you time it juuuust right before you step out of the way.....

Don't need a balanced group when you outlevel much of the zone by 5-15 levels.

I noticed the gnome no longer had that inner glow. Maybe reserved as a higher level quality.

All of my fears about Pantheon were alleviated once I saw today's stream. Not only that, but I felt like the team behind this game has solid goals/plans, and are making signficant progress. I'm proud to say that I'm a Pantheon supporter and I look forward to helping with testing.

I'm most impressed with what Joppa said at the beginning.  They are sticking to their guns and making it a group centric class co-dependant game.  Good job guys.  I'm also thrilled to see the progress has been forward progress and not sideways (meaning they are still going the direction the first aimed for).

The amimations in work are nice.  So glad they aren't going with 14' jumps into the air, 720 spin, landing with an earthquake and electrical tidalwave.  Adding animations is good, going sooo over the top is not.  I think they are getting it just right.

UI did look nice, spell book looked like trash.  I'm sure it'll be updated, but that's attention to detail I'm sure they'll nip in the bud.

I really liked what I saw today. The overall polish is coming along great, especially considering we're still in pre-alpha. The new warrior skills (and animations) were very nice, and I especially liked that little dead end with the hole in the wall that they said was part of a perception questline. (Great song, btw, Joppa.) There's a sense of real magic and adventure here that grows with every stream. Keep up the great work, guys!

The dungeons are going to be quite large, there is going to be plenty of content. Plus this is only one dungeon. There are going to be multiple dungeons for the same level of players.
