What is the Max level at launch?
will there be flying mounts? Regular Mounts?
Will we have ability to build housing?
Will There by any sort of (transmog) ability to change the look while keeping states of previously collected items?
Will there be any form of shapeshifting (druid)
How many players per server?

1. Nobody knows for sure yet. My best guess would be 50.
2. No mounts at launch, but mounts will be added, from what they have said in streams.
3. Not at launch. Housing will be added later.
4. Transmog is something that they haven't talked about, but they HAVE said that they want people to know what you have by howw it looks, so I am guessing not.
5. Shapeshifting is unknown at this time.
6. They won't know how many players per server until they stress test it in beta.
Keep in mind that we aren't at the end of pre-alpha yet. Read all answers as if they had the unstated "current plans are that" in front of them.
Not that I expect (or particularly want) mounts and housing in the game at release but it isn't quite probabilty zero (to use the name of a series of stories in Analog).

They have stated multiple times that neither mounts nor housing will be in at launch. They aren't evne working on them. They want to do them when they can afford the time to do them CORRECTLY.
Would rather them hold off on mounts and housing to do them correctly, anyways. They become a big part of the game, want it to be done right. Also, in my opinion, that means no flying mounts ever even when mounts are eventually implemented. Ground only, and nothing too fantastical.

My only point was that we may be two years away from launch and things *can* change.
Mounts and housing are both good things not to have at launch even if they are almost ready. Since they are likely to be things only a handful of people will have the coin or levels for until after at least a few months. Enough people will be speed-leveling without giving them the encouragement of more nice things that they can get when they hit a high level, have lots of in-game money or have high level crafting (depending on how the housing system works).
They have talked a little about Transmog (cosmetic gear). They explained how they could do that and yet still allow people to know what gear you actually have (they do find that important)
You will be able to have cosmetic a gear.
Players will have the option to turn it off (that I will use) and not see it.

I'd recommend familiarizing yourself with the forum search feature - search everything in the drop down - many of the topics/questions you may have probably have been hashed out over the years now. Even if it isn't an "official" annoucement regarding an idea, you can generally get a good idea of where the team stands.
