In light of the current "Nameplate Colour" questions, I wanted to post an example image that our Technical Director, Daniel Krenn whipped up for us, just to show you guys that it won't be immersion breaking or in-your-face but instead, we are going for a nice, simplistic look that will still allow you to show off your achievements, status and display whichever one you want at any given time.
We are also looking at making them togglable so either you can turn them off or others can if they don't wish to view them at all.
All a work in progress so please keep that in mind when commenting on them
@Kilsin - Need some for the PvP server(s) too bud. How bout the higher the pledge level the lower opacity we can score on our nameplate?
As long as there is a client side option for me to personally filter all the flair, badges, colors, and nameplate visibility entirely, then I don't care what they look like. :)
Because if I don't want to see them, then I don't have to see them. Personally, I will disable it all and never turn it on, because I don't care and don't want to care about all of that, with respect to a persons wallet, in-game.
Customized fonts would be nice, though, for non-enemy vs. enemy nameplates. If I could label all my enemies in Comic Sans, and hate them more, that'd be ideal.
Will be interesting to see the nov pledge drive namepates considering they said "Unique nameplate color in Pantheon - you'll really stand out" while in this post saying "it won't be immersion breaking or in-your-face"
