....because I miss EQ so badly that I spent time on P99 and then on Day Break's abomination they call EQ.....all they have done is destroy the game and crush my soul, I need Pantheon to restore my faith in people truely enjoying a real MMORPG experience gain.
THIS....so much.....this!
because I have watched every stream, read every post, looked into each race and all the classes, i planned my crafting options, the perception system sounds awesome, I tried to memorize the map we’ve seen so far, I’ve pledged my utmost, and I am read to explore Terminus. Pantheon is made for me. Maybe you guys didn’t know that, but it is.

No one is forcing you to read them or engage with them, Zew.
Have some compassion for my poor brain that has to read all of your posts, though! :D
Aw, go easy on 'em. He doesn't seem well socialized.

... actually, I can wait and am kinda hoping the general release isn't for about 5 more years. Things are busy right now and hopefully I would have more time to play by then, plus more time to polish the game.

Because from what i see on the forums its looking like this might actually be able to step up and fill the hole EQ left in a great many of us when it slowly went downhill.

While I can wait (voids of time get filled,) I am most eagerly anticipating playing a strong team-oriented mmorpg with my Sacred Haven guildmates from Vanguard.
For the same reasons a ton of people have gravitated towards the game to begin with. Wanting that style of game play that I had originally started with (at least in my case Everquest Online Adventures) and adding a bit more to it. I've been a part of some fun guilds over my time with my personal "big 3" mmos -EQOA, FFXI and WoW- but none have filled that void of combining community and game play quite like EQOA did. Where exploring things felt like an actual adventure, getting to know some of my closest friends and doing combat and healing for partys at the various camps in an open world. While I still cherish the memories with either FFXI or WoW, nothings been able to quite scratch the itch that EQOA left me with. Watching what I have from Pantheons development it seems right down my ally and I look forward to starting a new journey. :)

I haven't been involved in a sticky MMO since 2006/2007. I haven't had that warm fuzzy feeling from group and guild mechanics for over a decade.
