    @goofy

    My friend,  I think you are vastly underestimating the melee buffs shaman receive.

    Yes the enchanter might haste better than the shaman,  but no one is buffing melee more.   This synergy,  combined with the haste will make a shaman better than an enchanter for this purpose.

    The enchanters ability to generate mana for the group has been extremely limited in most streams to when the enchanter had nothing else to do.   I don't consider this a reliable way too ensure your cleric doesn't go oom.  Since if all your enchanter is doing is hasting and feeding... you probably don't need them.

    Lastly,  yes the game is designed as a quadrinity.  But in most games the content is designed for the average mmo player.   The player who makes mistakes. The player who doesn't think properly on their feet.  The player that will only group in pick up groups.   In this way,  yes,  I've said it before.   The chanter will be amazing.   But in a coordinated group of good players there is no need for over,  when the 3 dps can all mez.

    As you said,  I know I won't change your opinion,  and i even admit you are right for 95% of groups.   But my comp would be the MOST efficient for that 5% that care.

    Argument for argument's sake, as it stands, Enchanter will likely out dps a pure DPS class in a group but in a way where they don't stack well. With Charm, Shock & Awe, nukes and DOTs combined, you'll likely get more having one in the 3rd DPS slot. But that in lies the issue. They are designed for the 3rd spot in the quatrinity. So by design you could have Shaman in the 3rd DPS slot if going by the notion that you have a Cleric as main healer since that is the slot for utility/secondary.

    You seem to be talking about one of the most improbable groups by claming it as the 5% possibility. Considering you're talking about three Rogues, that chance is actually far smaller since Rogues are only 4.5% of the total player base in the average of polls. 4.5/3 so that group just based on the Rogues alone will be a 1.5% possibility. For a 5% based on a group of three Rogues, you'd need 15% of the playerbase playing a Rogue and I simply don't see that happening.
