I think it's odd that we haven't seen any streams in anything but Black Rose Keep recently. The monotony is a bit tedious from a public relations and interest perspective.

We know a bunch of other dungeons exist because we've seen streams of them - Tower of the Reckless Magician, Halnir Cave, Amberfaet. I mean how many times can we watch people do the same 20 mobs from a demo that was present at PAX in April. I'd much rather see a bit of live progress in another zone.

As a positive though, it's great to see simultaneous perspectives, and I think this is how all streams of playing should be broadcast. There's no better way to get people excited than to let them imagine they're playing the class in realtime. Let's make sure to mix up those group compositions too. Seeing the interplay is crucial.

I can honestly say that even though i love the dev streams and how informative they are. This was the stream that made me not just solidify my choice of character, but solidified my desire to play the game. First and foremost, you could tell these were experienced mmo/eq1/eq2 players. They were on point with thier skills and aggro and just pretty much the type of player that you would find in a standard PUG. Yes, due to the newness of the game there were some mistakes. Totally forgivable and trivial as this is a pre-alpha gameplay. The thing i like most about this game so far is that EVERYTHING is on a shortened timespan. When you attack a mob you have to constantly adjust to the situation. Mobs don't stay mez'ed for 5 minutes. This is the kind of gameplay that i have been hoping for.

There was one question i had regarding aggro. Will all green /con mobs be non aggro? This could really help with corpse runs if so... I kindof like the idea that if you outlevel something it doesnt aggro. I spend so many hours wading through greenies just to get to a specific spawn that it would be a welcome change. However i don't want to trivialize content......idk.

I think they've mentioned that BRK, AP and HC are they places they've fleshed out the most.  Other places have a lot of grey boxing (as we saw in AP when Cohh was there for a bit).  So it makes sense that this is where they are letting streams happen.  In another 6 months we'll probably say the same thing about the next batch of streams all coming from the same, albeit, different location.

I was hoping to catch wind of the Summoner class, but over all i enjoyed the enchanter stream too. I am sure in time they will be introducing the other classes.

I watched the enchanter stream first.

This stream highlighted group interdependency, and how it sets this game apart from current MMOs.  It showed that the gameplay here is not about button mashing, ability spamming, or even calculating some order of operations to maximizing DPS.  Having to cooperate, communicate, and thinking is key.  Choosing NOT to use an ability to save mana or a cooldown for a contingency that might arise can be more important.  Good stuff.

Also, it was great to see an enchanter pulling after all these years.

Hadn't noticed it in the developer stream if it did happen.

    It's a thing.

Nick's stream was great and he plays the enchanter wonderfully.

Like some others, I was a little frustrated by the lack of ability for the Paladin to retain agro. But as others here have also pointed out, we're basing that at least in part on a person playing the Paladin for the first time, on being dropped into a level 30 Paladin with no learning curve of 30 levels behind them, and a person that doesn't really play a tank in any games. That's gotta be factored in. (And that's no dig on your at all Saicred. You rocked it for your level of experience in the roll.)

I thought the visuals were looking much better from a few months ago. And the gameplay seemed more smooth and the combat more engaging. Huge improvements and the amount of nostalgia I was feeling was at an epic level. Loved it.

Here was my most strong reaction though : At the 53 minute mark of Saicred's video there's a corpse of a woman there on the ramparts. I know this is just a visual bug associated with the ragdoll physics. But those backward bent knees and twitching feet is just about the most disturbing thing I've ever seen in an MMO :)
