Love the latest streams! Thank you for posting them. I'd first like to say that I'm so excited for this game that I'm nostalgic crying. It's such a breath of fresh air to see something like this on the market, renewed and refreshed. I was a huge EQ1 player and dedicated my college life to the Cleric and Enchanter so I'll comment on them below. Keep up the great work, philosophically and creatively!

    Enchanter
Overall, I'm loving where the Enchanter is going and how it feels. The player in the stream was a little hard to watch (No offense Doc! I know you were new to it). I feel like a lot of that craziness in BRK could have been mitigated by staying on top of the mobs and refreshing Mez/lowering Magic Resist, all the while spinning your camera for incoming patrols for preemptive agro.

One thing I'm not totally loving is the ball of swirling light to indicate the enemy is mezzed. I don't know, something about EQ1's melting pink sparkles was just heaven to watch as it poured over their body. It almost dripped over the mob and it was oddly satisfying. Although I love the obvious indicator of the swirling ball, I feel like you could take this farther creatively. It's the Enchanter's main ability and role so I feel like this should be more dramatic. We specialize in splendor and charm so let's be dramatic; Enchanters love the show!

    Cleric
Love the Cleric! I'm excited to see where it goes at higher levels (hots, group heals, shields, marks, etc). It'd also be nice to see some sort of rezzing ability beyond just the ability to rez to help separate them from other resurrecting classes (not just an experience difference). For example, what if the Cleric got an ability to pray to their diety to resurrect himself outside the dungeon. Or what if he was able to summon the group's corpses once per day. Or something along those lines of Resurrection utility.

    Looking forward to more streams!

Everything you guys are doing is great. It's nice to be included on progression and the Streams are excellent. I absolutely Love the Orcs area and that boss in the big round room... Can not wait to take that fight on. I noticed that you guys talked about how BRK was a great place to get geared up. Please spread gear out to more than One BIG dungeon. Don't get me wrong, I will be spending a million hours in BRK, but I don't want just 1-2 places for ALL my gear.  EQ1 had that issue; Sol B had cleric gear but very little caster gear. Lower Guk had caster and Melee gear, but no real Cleric gear.

Please Balance that out. No one wants to group for hours knowing that if they are camping the ghoul archmage, they won't be getting any cleric, druid, or shaman gear.  I would really love it if BRK had gear for every single class, but also, not be there ONLY place to get gear. I want to be able to get gear all over the world.

If you were to make Shining Metalic Robes drop in BRK, may have another robe drop in The Tower of the Recklace Magician that is  ~  to it, but different colors and maybe slightly different stats.

The Flowing Black robe, The Robe of the Oracle, and Shining Metalic robes were all iconic Robes during Vanilla EQ. I would like to see MORE options.  FBR was level 15-20-ish, Oracle and SMR were 30-40ish. Maybe have some cool stuff every 10 levels and also have 2-3 variations depending on where you killed at???

Going to ask this in the Cleric section as well, but just in case devs see it here as well. If one of the pictures of the Cleric, The cleric had one what looked like Cloth Robes but with Plate strapped over it. PLEASE make that "look" a real thing that drops at multiple levels.  I love Cloth and Plate looks on clerics, I would love to have both AND also Cloth PLUS plate like in the picture.

The streams rock. please make a new stream with Druid, Wizard, Summoner, and whatever else.

In studying the class abilities, I liked how certain pairs overlapped, like a mage with its summon ladder, and the rogues length of rope.

After I watched the stream I had to go over all the class reveals and they all look so interesting and fun to play! I am having a hard time choosing.

The MMO allstars stream made me feel like a newbie again! The mistakes were hilarious to watch but also watching how they "got gud" as they learned was satisfying. The way the streamers fell into a sort of snarky, funny and supportive group banter was enjoyable. Thats the kind of camraderie you can get in PuGs (most times) and I think is a real indicator of the kind of random meaningful social interaction the game is looking to achieve. If you remember at the end they all wanted to play with each other again in Terminus, as if they forgot their twitch audience and instead were focused on their group whereas at the beginning they commeted on how they always said they wanted to play together but never did.

I keep forgetting that the Cohh streams are not sponsored, he's doing it for personal enjoyment. Hearing his overview as he is playing shows me the levels of gameplay that I would normally not pay attention to. He is able to pick up on nuances that I normally miss, at first glance and make me think I can become a better player from watching his streams.

The overall design of the world is that it looks small but is big at the same time. When the all stars were moving around the orc area- it seemed large, but not so big it took forever to get somewhere in there. Another example is the tower of the reckless magician; you can get to large or significant(populous) areas quickly. Blackrose Keep is the same way, as they are gathering outside, the gnomes are jumping up and down in "hello" on the parapets- that do not look that far away. But when they entered the keep- just getting to the parapets was a significant travel through alot of "big" areas. It looked closer than it was from the outside. Similar to Amberfaet, the immidiate area was large but busy, but the destinations looked far away, but passing through those large areas was not tedious or boring.

In all of the streams, sometimes I think it goes unnoticed, there were other groups there. I was so focused on the streaming group I just gave a passing acknowledgment to the other players. But that is a big thing, that there can be other players fairly close yet at the same time the area the group is in seems large and uncrowded.

Probably the built in class synergy we are already seeing this early, before even all abilities are revealed.

The enchanter/summoner duo is already pretty big debate, synergy between clerics and pallies, synergy between shamans and dire lord splatter, the list goes on!

Second favorite is just how unique each class is. There are clear differences between druids and shamans and clerics, and each of them seems viable in their own scenario. Same with the DPS classes, and the tanks. That can't have been easy, and it will probably continue to be difficult..Good luck!!

I find myself already looking forward to seeing just how bard and necro play out with everything we already haveXD. I suspect VR may actually manage to keep them entirely unique yet useful! Also can't wait to hear if necro is planned as mainly utility or dps=)

I'm still patiently waiting on information regarding Bards. I know this is a ways off, but am happy to hear that they are likely going to make release.

I'm not bummed that Alpha is delayed, I kind of expected it. I'm totally okay waiting until next year... (but please try to hit next year for it!) I can't wait to help you guys make a great game.

I'm loving the progress that has been made, the game is really shaping up to be AMAZING. Can't wait to see what happens when you guys are done with the systems and get to producing content! (Meaning actual zones!)

I am excited to hopefully see a finished World Atlas at some point too so I can speculate stuff!

Super excited to see how some of these Summoner spells work.

Seeing the recent information that's been put out including the class reveals and different streams has done it for me... I've been lurking in the shadows eyeing the site/forums since i got wind of this game and its creators and since my fondest gaming memories stem from my EQ days from back in 1999 I'm getting excessively excited about roaming around Terminus. I've therefor just upgraded my Pledge to "Protector" status. Keep up the great work!

The Game’s looking great, it’s very impressive to see how far its come.

    The ranger:

This is just my opinion, and I realize my opinion isn't going to change anything, especially this late in development, but it seems weired to have Multiple animals summoned for a brief attack and then disappear. I think it would make more sense to Choose a single animal to remain by the rangers side and perform these special attacks when directed to, if animals are going to be part of the ranger tool set.

This summoning “animation” of animals seems more magical based and less about being a ranger who’s connected with nature and its inhabitants. I hope at the very least the animals summoned would have some reason why they’re helping the ranger,(a quest, its been tamed ect..) otherwise I feel it’s just an animation with no meaning.

The jumping gnomes - hands down.  That was awesome and had me chuckling for awhile.  It might sound like a minor thing, but those are the things you remember.  Those are the things that are only possible in a community-oriented open-world game.

Yes, I had the same feeling as well, while I looked at the stream.

It seemed more like dumbfire pets, those that mages would use. Not a ranger who "found a companion in the wild" and fights alongside him.

I think, if the ranger knows he's going into a dungeon, he should think ahead and go out to find the most suited companion within that zone for him/or for that specific encounter. Different animals can have different attacks/buffs/debuffs. It would make a lot of sense for a ranger having to do that as a way of preparing himself for a battle. Another option would be to allow ranger to summon those companions along the way, but they are not temporary untill canceled. Possibly not being able to have more than one up at a given time.

I definatly agree with; "otherwise I feel it’s just an animation with no meaning." It did feel that way looking at the stream and I would have that same experience when I play my ranger as well. That would be a pitty. It's not a magical thing for rangers, its a nature thing.
