As Sorte said we are still early ...very early ... in the testing process.
Tests invariably result in changes, often major changes, in class design and balance. By class balance I don't mean in the pvp sense of trying to make every class equal - an awful thought - but rather in making every class useful in groups and no class so much better than another class that serves the same general function that almost everyone who wants that role will play that class.
My guess is that they will spend a lot of time and effort balancing the combat and perhaps perception-related abilities. This is quite important. They will then assign other abilities partly based on what they think goes best with particular classes from a lore perspective but also based on what will make all of the classes useful and in demand.
Travel-based abilities like speed buffs and summoning *probably* will go to the type of class we all would expect but there may be some surprises rather late in testing if they feel a different class *reallly* needs some boost to be playable and they do not want to go back and fiddle with combat balance again.
I think some races or classes should have innate speed boost. I liked how in D&D Monks and Barbarians had movement speed boost. Would also be cool for races to move at different speeds. Small races are slightly slower, medium are base, and large get a slight boost.

While that makes sense realistically, it can get annoying real quickly to have a group of mixed races where the taller races constantly have to stop and wait for the smaller races to catch up only because they have longer legs. So I don't know if it would be good to have a lot of that going on. But I'm sure there will be a couple classes that get around faster. Of course, as others have said, it's much too early to really know the specifics.
I hope everyone gets some type of travel skill. Druids, Shaman Rangers some type of SoW. Warriors, Rogues and Paladins a charge skill they can press every 30 seconds thats faster then SoW but would overwrite SoW (so pick what one you want). Bards selo thats the fastest but team makes need to be in range. I think something crative like this would be awesome.
