Wardrobe window

I was wondering if there will be a wardrobe function, where I can click an item or link to item and see what it would look like on me?  EQ2 has said function and I really like it alot, especially because sometimes items icons didnt match the look of an item very well, and though I liked the stats, the item looked horrible when worn.

If this function were in Pantheon I'd make good use of it. I mean, realistically it does make sense that someone would see the physical item before agreeing to a transaction. I don't think I'd have an issue with this.

I also enjoyed this feature from EQ and would like to see it in Pantheon. Looks are important haha. I'd just imagine that it's a quality-of-life thing that will come much later.

With the inclusion of cosmetic type items (or a cosmetic gear panel, however they end up implamenting it) I would assume they would. I for sure hope they do because like most I loved this feature in other games.

Big upvote from me on this, especially if we're going to have cosmetic gear.  I spent far too much time in LOTRO messing with character appearance and the wardrobe functions were a big part of that.  I know some folks are down on cosmetics because they've seen it so very poorly implemented in previous games.  I think LOTRO was quite successful in providing a wide variety of realistic and lore-appropriate appearances.  Cosmetics and character appearance have a direct impact on my desire to roleplay my character or even whether I feel connected and invested in my character when adventuring.

If there's no cosmetic gear, then I'm not sure a wardrobe function matters.  You're going to wear whatever gear gives you the stats you need for a specific encounter, regardless of whether it makes you look like an ogre pimp.

Isn't this where someone dives in and says "ugh, lazy modern convenieces!" "it ruins role-playing - you should have to go and get that piece and put it on to see what it looks like!"

    Lol.

Yeah, I'd like a wardrobe function. People are going to want to put links in trade and, personally, one part of a pieces value is whether it looks good or not, so if I'm going to bid on something, I'd like to know what it looks like on me.
