Wife and I will be on Agnarr. Won't be taking time off from work, but will play most of Memorial Day weekend. Hope everyone is not max level before we get there.
Most of our experience is with EQ2. Not a lot of time on EQ. Will have to spend some time learning the interface.

Yes, but after you get your character created, you can cancel the sub and extend your game time with Krono, if you're inclined.

I doubt I'll ever have that kind of plat but thank you for the info :).
It will definitely give you a very good feeling of how EQ was like, originally. Without all the persistent problems of P1999, after the first 12 weeks.
This thread has this poll, which may help you decide what to play. There will be dozens of guilds recruiting. My advice is, don't join a guild until max level. Until then, enjoy being a free agent. Find a guild with your goals and in your time zone and play times.
