Hey everyone! I wanted to promote my pilot video for my series on Pantheon lore!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YdD4FgeqFZk
EDIT: Having issues embedding the video. QQ
Unfortunately, I do feel that this needs to be said as I've already been attacked personally since posting the video earlier today. This isn't a mock up from a recent thread posted on the forums here. It's a video that I've been working on for a long time based on a timeline I myself did months ago.

Give it a listen, and feel free to give me any feedback, as I'm clearly super new at this!
EDIT: A few minute errors to be pointed out for this video.
1) There are indeed only three eras of collision. The Ginto, Archai, Myr, and Humans all arive in the second era of collision. I misinterpreted the lore pages and recorded that there were four eras of the collision, with the Ginto being in their own separate collision. The fourth era of collision should be called the third era of collision.
2) There are seven Ogre Tome of Wars.
3) Su'Roa is translated as "Little home", not "small Roa".
Will definitely fix these errors in the updated version that I will almost certainly release before launch, but I just wanted to prevent the spread of any misinformation!
Interesting summary Temmi, thanks for making lore content! My favorite picture you used was the Boundary from the Sword of Truth lol, that series actually came up in another Pantheon-related context yesterday. I have to say sadly that your reckoning on the Era of Collisions numbering is wrong (although this is not really your fault, it was a mistake on the web page which has since been corrected. See: Istuulamae's post on the stickied timeline thread on these forums) but it's kind of a trivial problem. Keep it up!
Very well done! You have a nice voice for this :) I agree with Cana - the pictures make it much more enjoyable. My only suggestion would be that the font (while pretty) is sometimes hard to read. Especially with informational videos, it's generally best to go with a font that is more legible rather than stylized.
@ Bazgrim, yeah, hindsight's 20/20. For my next vid I'll definitely go for something a bit more simple and clear rather than pretty! I was really just sticking to "cool is the rule" since I've never really done anything like this before.
Thanks for the feedback!
What kinds of videos do you guys want to see next?
I was kind of thinking videos for each race's lore, but those videos might end up being really short, since we honestly don't have much info on the races yet. Maybe the Dragon Accord? I could go into the Keepings of Castigue for that.
@ Jimmayus, yeah, I have a few really minor mistakes, as I've been working on this for quite some time and they kept updating things without telling me! I also mistranslated Su'Roa which should be "Little Home", not "Little Roa", but the sound file with that was two minutes long and I kept screwing it up so I just went with it.
Like I mentioned in the video, I'll probably redo this particular one once we get closer to launch with a nice and crisp version, and I'll tidy up all the little minute errors then. I just kept getting asked for this type of thing, so I wanted to put something together.
Sure thing, it's nice to see lore stuff pop up more often. I'd like to have quite a burgeoning community to refer people to, and videos like yours are the way to go. I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but I had no idea so many people visited this forum on a daily basis that you'd get so many views so quickly! Very heartening.
No offense taken at all! I came into this with zero expectation, so the responses have been overwhelming. I even got two subscribers!!!
All the helpful feedback and support is the best birthday gift I could have asked for (today is my birthday!)
I'm a big enough girl to admit I was a little salty when you came out with a timeline so similar to mine just a few days before I was going to post mine and the video, but I hope moving forward we can even collaborate on some of these lore talks! I really could use another head when compiling all this, as I'm sure you know, too!
Happy birthday. Nice job on the video. I have to agree on the font (especially the numbers), but definitely enjoyed it otherwise. We need more PRF videos. There are very few. I know you're focused on the lore, but I'd love to see class videos too (even if they are mostly speculation), and even videos on things like Progeny, Acclimation, and Colored Mana. I do think the Keepings of Castigue would be great for your next video.
Very noted!
I'll definitely be changing the font to something nice and clear!
I actually also want to do a series of videos on non-lore things, just general Pantheon discussion things, so I'm sure I will get into that stuff soon! I know I'm constantly going over the same things with Pantheon whenever I talk to someone who hasn't heard about the game yet, so I'm definitely planning on doing a Pantheon overview video. Same thing as the timeline vid, nice and relatively brief, covering the high points of the game. I do tend to stay away from too much speculation, though! >.<
Haha. Good luck making class videos without speculation. They're quite stingy with that information. I guess you could do something like a 'What We Know/What We Don't Know' format. That would probably work well for the races also, since (for me at least) the lore raises a lot of questions.

It's worth mentioning that certainly not everything has to be in Times New Roman lol. But there are plenty of fonts that are unique while also readible. Legibility is just more important. :)

Not necessarily lore-related, but hey! Self promo! This one is an overview of the game, so that when I'm talking to people, I can just send them this link instead of repeating the same things over again. xD
I tweaked the colors of the intro part, and used a much clearer font, though I'm still not 100% happy with that part. I think the sound quality is a lot better, and my editing of the sound clips seems much better, too! I'm learning!
Next! Keep them coming.
EDIT: Didn't even think about the font while watching, which is probably a good thing.

Dragon Accord, more about the Collisions...possibly who is friends with who race-wise. Factions when we know more about them. Something more about the Dark Myr (sorry I am biased lol) And it would be cool if you and Jimmayus would team up. Get this happening. Btw one of your subs on you-tube was me, the one with the long name. :P And! Happy Birthday Temmi :)
Rubezahl said:Thanks for this summary. It will definitely help people that don't want to read through all the lore. It also helps me to know if I am close to the correct pronounciation... or at least making the right mistake.
The right mistake haha. What a compliment! xD
My next few videos are well in the works!
Great videos, and belated Happy Birthday!
I really enjoyed having the visuals to accompany the lore. Only possible erratum that I noticed was that you describe the Ginto as arriving during a collision in 450 IH. Maybe @Istuulamae can clarify, but I believe the Ginto are actually one of the native races of Terminus. According to the lore, it's the Dark Myr and the Archai that both arrive in 450:
With the Second Era of Collisions starting in the Spring of 450, the Age of Chaos officially began. Nearly on top of each other came the Myr of Issul (hereafter referred to as Dark Myr) near the Ogres of Broken Maw in what would become the continent of Reignfall, and the Archai of Roa to the south, in the realm of Whitethaw and nearest to the Dwarves and Khadassa.
Anyways, amazing job, and I'm looking forward to seeing more videos!

"In 450 IH, the Third Era of Collisions began, critically starting with the aforementioned Ginto. At the time of the arrival, their Infinite Union was already crippled."
Direct quote from the lore page on the Age of Seclusion. Unless I am horribly misinterpreting this, that means that the Ginto did arrive in Terminus (arrive meaning not native, as far as I can understand) in 450 or near enough that citing that year works.
