User Interface Restrictions

    My 2 copper bits...

    I need to be able to arrange, and toggle on/off and alter font size. These 3 items in 'like it or lump it' irritate me to no end and have made me put down games before. If i was something that fit into my perception of 'good' it was less an irritant, but some concepts have ben just murderously horrible.

    I want to be able to arrive at a minimalist solution. Scrolly decorations, or any for that matter, are a waste for me. I know some people who just *love* them, and I hope they can have their vision. Title bars are a waste. If I can't tell it's a Chat Window, we've had a major diconnect. I'd love to have enough control over the UI to distribute things. For example in some streams I've noticed if your close enough to the mob, like Cohh usually is, you can see the ffects on the mob's overhead healthbar, but if it's a character at a distance, like HiveLeader was, you can't see that. You can see Target's Target (Machail to the left above the hotbar and his target to the right) but you can see none of the effects on either. i'd hope there's a toggle fo that, and a size control. Personally, I'd toggle off all the mid screen stuff (floating damage, all but the MOB nameplate) and keep it in UI elements. Some will perfer the opposite with as little 'UI' as possible and everything they can in HUD.

    Just please, please, please... if we go down the same kind of road as EQI and Vanguard, can we get some guidance from devs as to what does what and what exists as a DoM or other documentation?
