  Sorry if this was a conversation I missed. Been busy starting a new business and working on my masters degree.
  
  One thing that stood out for me was factions in EQ as well as race and religion. I likes the fact that if someone really wanted to, they could change their factions to allow them to go places otherwise unreachable due to these factors. It added a sense of actions having consequences.

  Yeah, last livestream. Factions may be even more involved in Pantheon than they were in EQ.

  I just hope for a nice UI to keep track of factions.

  Agreed. One of my least favorite parts of EQ was the lack of a way to check current faction standings.

  The buttons at the bottom are super reminiscent of Vanguard to me for some reason.

  Factions add a lot to a MMO. If they have different starting areas and quest chains (at least early on) that is even better. Gives a reason to try different things.
