Wild's End -The Wellpond (Dungeon Suggestion)

    Hello forums,

After reading the lore found here https://www.pantheonmmo.com/lore/wilds_end/ ;, I couldn't help but want to point out how fun it would be if a 'blue hole' concept was used at 'The Wellpond'. I think it would be really fun to swim down, and down, and down ... far enough to be 'afraid' until you get somewhere which is great to explore as a low level. You could even go FURTHER if you have a breath underwater spell ...but perhaps The Wellpond has much fiercer enemies than any youngly adventurer could take on...the deeper...it goes.

    Sorry for any nightmares *grins*

    Just food for thought,

    -Todd

I do love the idea of these harder areas in generally low level content. Makes for a real sense of danger for lowbies looking at that deep dark place and going "Nope! Not going there!" It also creates this feeling of seeing high level characters running through your lowbie zones to give the little ones things ot aspire to.

Love it!  I think this sort of thing should be in the game.  Intensity and adventure.  What will I find down there?  Will I survive it?  What is looming in the dark?

I love the sense of danger, i think thats what really makes an MMO pack a good punch.  "is it safe for me to be down this far?" "Where did i go?" "What in the actual F*** IS THAT? IM RUNNING"

I reall miss the crazy raids and dungeon running the early games created.  EQ did that in the open zones.   I had no idea what was in front of me.  Do I keep going?  I can remamber a serious pucker factor when running around in zones.  It was awesome!  FRom what I was able to gleen for the VR streams they are going to bring that back.   I am pretty excited about this IP so I am also learning a higher level of patience.

The waiting is always the hardest part. I agree with Ox. I remember running between the feet of a giant with my tiny dwarf trying to get to the next harvest node. Good stuff.

I hope we can test the heck outta this game for the Devs and make it the best possible. I would like to play a game that gains popularity and sticks around for a good, long, while.

This in my humble opinion is key! Having low level players and high level characters sharing the same zones makes for a lot better gaming experience. Not to mention a sense of wonder for new characters. This also gives new and old players a chance to interact and talk with one another. I remember in the MUD I used to play when traveling thru lowbie zones and coming across new players being able to help them and talk with them. A lot of times because I had so much gear(Doubles and Triples of a lot of items) I would give out items and buffs to help them on there way. I enjoyed this as much as a maxed out character as I think the new players did.

P.S. I used to farm gear knowing I would give it away when I cam across someone that needed help or a jump start to the MUD.

    I LOVE this one! :D

And at the bottom put a cursed and locked in chains Dark Myr hundreds of years old Dire Lord! :D (And then the rest of us Dire Lords can go down and learn skills from him but everybody else has to battle him XD )

Can't say if I'm joking or being serious here :O
