I'm wondering if there is some thread or other repository of info that has any listed, concrete game features somewhere? I have read the sticky with features and tenets but that is a bit more vague than what I'm referring to. I have seen some people mention some features like class specialization as if it's a given that it will be in the game but I don't know where that info came from. Does anyone know if such a list exists or where people are getting this type of info? I have snooped around the site but haven't found anything that concrete. I know it's early and things can change but I'm just curious about the focus and any details of the game at this point even if it might evolve later.
I think info is being derived from combination of the website, the twitch gameplay session and various comments and interviews that have been posted in the forums and on gamer websites. Lots of wishful thinking and concepts probably based mostly off EQ and Vanguards most revered features going on in here at the moment. But knowing the VR guys are actually interested and also active in what is being discussed here is really great!
Another resource people often quote is the original Kickstarter campaign, which featured Pantheon's first iteration of game tenants, class info, lore, etc. Much of that information has changed since the Kickstarter and as development has progressed. Anything you read on the forums that isn't part of an official dev release is largely speculation as we simply don't have that much information to this point. However, things have started gaining momentum in the last couple months so I'm optimistic that some of the pieces will begin to fall into place. Until then, the tenants that you refer to, in combination with the two revealed classes, are about as "concrete" as we have at this time.
Class specialization was discussed on the classes introduced at the Kickstarter as there were two paths for each class, but the original annouced classes have changed and now there's only one path.
The class specialization that is being discussed now is more in reference to the multi-colored mana system, in which a class may choose some level of specialization based on additional mana choice. It hasn't been discussed much at all though, so all of that is pretty speculative at this point, and to what level specialization would exist.
Other than that, the tenets are pretty much what has been introduced as being "concrete."
