You know, when I first read the lore I really (really) disliked the writing style. It seemed too obtuse and inconcise of a style. I even wrote a strong feedback comment to that end. But....i went back and reead it a second time and fell in love with the lore and then I had a realization.........like the game.....the lore is written with more complexity and challenge and without spoon feeding it to you.
Now I respect that, so just publicly wanted to say that I, for one, was a critic but am now a fan.

I think I did what you did. I have read it 3 times and doing it again. There is a ton of layers to it and is just the beginning.

I really enjoy @JNGerhart 's writing style. And you are right. It ain't no hardy boys, Its literature quality in small doses. I suggest looking at the timelines that some people have posted, then read through the pertinent sections in chronological order. Pay attention to the pantheon's actions in all ages because all actions come full circle!
I can't wait to alpha testing, cause I get to paruse all the lore aspects of the game! its gonna be off the hook!

I have been going back through the Lore and noticed the loop back aspect. The gaps are interesting and compels you to want more of that story. I have that bug now. So far this was a fun experiment one my off time.

I love the lore and writing style.
You have to think. You have room for conjecture, for interpretation.
I especially like the line: "heard from a number of oracles (the most reliable of whom are insane)" which leads me to believe the writer is speaking of people(Devs) he has interviewed around the office for insight into the gaming world. I enjoyed a good laugh when reading it.
The entire read if full of thought provoking, imagination inspiring, insight into the realm of Terminus.
Great job! I look forward for more to come.
