  what pledge would I have to subscribe to in order to get pre-alpha access and is it availabe for access now?

  $1000 or $100/mo for a year.

  As Liav and Kalgore pointed out, the current starting point is the Originator's Pledge which is $1,000 or you can pay it off at $100/mo over 1 year. We have not started any testing yet, other than internal but when we are ready to launch Pre-Alpha we will make an announcement across all platforms and let everyone know :)
