Hope we see tons of different mob types in Pantheon but some of my favorites include,

    Gnolls

    Snakes

    Goblins

    Orcs

    Anthropomorphic Frogs ;)

    Giant Bats

    Elementals

    Kobolds

    ...Dragons

Got any mobs that you just can't live without ?

I'd add skeletons and rats to your list. Sure they are generic mobs that show up everywhere - but thats why we need them

I like old favorites but also like seeing new mobs that are unique to the world. I'm curious to see what they come up with.

Mine is not a specific species of mob, but more of an attackable mob type. I loved being able to camp and kill NPC's of different factions. I use to camp guards of the different races/faction, as well as some of the surrounding NPC's. EQ was one of the only games I can remember where there were NPC's in major cities where you could farm exp.

Yep. Frogloks. No dungeon is complete without at least a couple Frogloks.

As someone mentioned above I hope we can attack and kill every single thing in the game.  If something is supposed to be unkillable/badass just make it super powerful.  None of this invincibility/unattackable nonsense.

I want a large variety of mobs but I want them to have some lore behind their existence (aside from standard fare lions and tigers and bears oh my).  This "final fantasy" **** where you have like a giant robot hanging out with a werewolf, a pikachu, and some sort of floating crystal that resonates elemental magic is just lame.  A lot of games seem to do that nowadays and I would rather run into orcs in the east wood because they have established a foothold there and have scouts patroling the forrest and not just a random scattering of orcs, gnolls, and aviaks across the whole zone because someone decided to include them in the random monster number generator or something.

That said I am all for any sorts of standard fantasy creatures.  Hopefully lots of humanoid NPC types that have culture and lore and such and can maybe be included in expansions as playable races!!  Hopefully some gods and unicorns and fairies and other magical creatures to encounter as well : )

I would recomend everyone to check out the card drawings of Magic the gathering.  I would also suggest to look thru Alpha to 4th and maybe 5th generation cards. The drawings on those cards are just wonderful. Lots of "mob" ideas...

    Sprites/Brownies

    Tree Ents

    Clockworks

    Bandits

    Camens/crocodiles

Werewolves (maybe even a sting of were quests that give you the ability to turn into a werewolf/gator/lion/rat/bear like in EQOA! Everyone loved those quests! They added extra stats, although some stats were better for particular classes than others... still, it was so fun!)

I'd love to see some of the more unusual creatures from mythology and D&D, such as sphinxes, unicorns, manticores, chimera, gargoyles, hippocampus, phoenixes, hydras, bugbears, mindflayers, kraken, leviathans, gelatinous cubes, winged serpents, owlbears, rust monsters, displacer beast, mimics....etc.  Too many games reuse early level mobs by making them larger or a different color and changing the name.  Such a waste where there is such a huge body of monster lore from which to gather.

    Trailer park...err...wood elves

    Halflings

    Druids

    Rangers

I put maybe half the levels on my necro feasting on one wood elf/halfling camp or another, and nothing is as satisfying as hearing the dying shrieks of a druid.

Snakes that are able to Kick.
    Griffins.

And yeah i like to camp npc for faction. Faction is pretty importend in EQ i liked it that way.
Also i like to camp and kill phers till a named mob pops up and drops rare items with pretty low drop rate.
I know alot dont like camping, but i enjoyed it becaurse you could work then kill the pher then work for 30min or whatever the respawn was and then kill pher again etc till the named pops up.

-Broods of ravenous harpies that attack settlements periodically.

-Werecreatures that transform during the battle.

-Some kind of parasite/host combo, the parasite forces the hapless victim to defend it.

-Subterranean mobs that erupt from the ground when a meal unknowingly wanders by.

-ghosts/demons/etc that mimic the abilities of a player attacking it.

It think these would be nifty mob behaviors :D

The only kinds of Mobs I want to see  in Pantheon are hard ones, dont care what form they take but I do care that if I decide to fight one I better have my **** together because if not the mob is going to hand my **** back to me.
