Editing this to make it short and sweet:
I love you guys. I hope someday Pantheon is all you hoped it will be. Have enjoyed getting to know you all. See you someday in game ;)
EDIT 2/28/15 :
Wow. I didn't expect to see all this awesome support and reaching out. Maybe I will have to stick around after all if you don't terribly mind it ;)
Hey Jason
Dont leave the site...talk to another admin and see if things can be worked out
you have been here as long as I can remember, hell during the really low times there was just a handful of us doing any posting at all
and you helped keep this forum alive. Dont know what went down and I can understand if you do leave but I really hope you stick around as your presence will be missed.
I for one am sorry to see you go. I hope you'll reconsider and decide to stay with us. I enjoyed reading your threads and you were always very active which is good for the community. New things are just around the corner! Maybe take a breather for a bit and think things over. There will always be a place for you here when you want to come back.
Hi guys this is Freyja . In real life I am Jason's wife . Now you know lol. Something is going on in the site here in private that's been really bugging him and just today his best friend at work died so he isn't in an average frame of mind . He might just need to cool off a few days . He says this thread can be deleted if you like . His friend passing is really affecting him is all. Thank you for your understanding .I do know he enjoys this place and the discussions that take place here .
Hey Jason,
Disclaimer: I don't know the interaction between you and the moderator, I can only go by the Opening Post.
Edit: the OP was edited so now I am going by memory - which is not a good thing for me ;)
I have enjoyed your posts, so you will be missed, if you do indeed move on. I suggest you mull on it a bit. I have moderated my own guild's forums for years now and the things you listed (edit: in the op which was taken out) you shouldn't worry about too much. Its just someone trying to give you feedback on how to be more in-line with posting. I guess it depends on how the message was sent out and how it was received.
Excessive use of capitals/colors can be annoying to look at. Just take the message as advice. Double posting, meh I usually leave unless its excessive. The point thing - well I think it should be taken out completely at this point. I see people use it a lot, some not at all - one of the greens thanks a huge number of posts - so I thought we should be using it. Now after listening to you idk how to use it.
Bottom line, I haven't read the messages from the moderator that were to you, but the subjects you talked about were fine to moderate - talk to the moderator - maybe there was some misunderstanding. It is hard to understand tone and inflection in text.
another edit: I just read Freyja's post (we must have posted close to each other) I am so sorry for your loss Jason. Hopefully we will see you post again.
Jason and Freyja - I hope the real life stuff settles out. Death is never easy.
If he wants, I can act up and get the mods on my tail a bit to take some of the heat off of him :)
Good luck and hope to see you back soon, You know you can't let me Win Last post ;0
Just remember we all have a debate / issue with mods from time to time, hell i'm part of a guild with 60,000 plus members trust me i'm the mods worst nightmare over in TOG ;)

Prayers and thoughts going out to Jason and Freyja. I too hope that RL settles out and we'll see both of you back on the boards.
Freyja and Jason,
I am sorry for you loss, and my thoughts and prayers go out to both of you!
I know I have not been here long, but during even that small window of time I have noticed your presence have a positive impact in myriad of ways on both this forum and community. Like many above have said, please take whatever time you need. Then come back and join us again!
Good Luck,
Dan
Jason, I really hope this is something we can work out mate, I too would not like to see you leave over a misunderstanding that can be fixed by talking, if it is something I have said, please send me a PM and I would be happy to hear you out.
I have been a bit heavy handed as of late (and I did warn the community I would be) and with good reason but if something has upset you, please don't keep it to yourself mate, let me know and we can work something out.
I am truly sorry for your loss and I hope you will change your mind and continue the loyal support that we have seen for so long now.

I guess ill leave my personal opinion about people that rage quit forums, as it seems to be the polar opposite from others. I'm here to only build a better game.
If this is the start of the Pantheon community (and I believe it is) - Jason is a vibrant member of it.
If the Pantheon community is anything like the EQ community (and I believe it will be) - we don't cut members loose when they have an off day or are going through something. We give them room and support.
I'm actually very encouraged to see all the members here doing just that - and thrilled to see all the green doing the same :)
I want to mention that I moved this discussion to "Off Topic" to keep inline with our standards and forum guidelines, this is never a personal attack or meant to upset any member of our community and while I understand that this is a sensitive issue for some, I wanted to take this opportunity to move the thread to "Off Topic" as it does not relate to "General Pantheon" discussions and I will explain some reasons behind the actions taken here lately and the PMs to members advising them of the actions.
Usually when I (or another member of the team) do something like this, I send a friendly PM to the person who created the thread or post and as a courtesy, advise them of the actions I have taken, if you get one of these, please do not take it to heart or take it personally, I send out many to all different members for all different reasons and they are meant as a friendly reminder of the rules/guidelines and to do you the courtesy of alerting you to the actions that I have taken, instead of you guys and girls just logging in and getting a rude shock.
Please take a minute or two to think before starting a thread or posting in a thread to make sure that it is posted in the right sub forum and it is on topic with the Original Posters (OP) discussion, taking these simple measures will ensure that your threads and posts do not get moved, closed or deleted and you remain free from PMs from myself and other team members (unless of course it is to help or discuss another topic).
You have all been fantastic lately and I would like to personally thank everyone for their mature and intelligent discussions, it is a very nice thing to log on for the first time in the morning, with a coffee and read such well thought out idea's, discussions and genuinely good quality feedback, please keep it up :)
Again, I would like to stress that if you ever have a problem with someone, even if it is a team member, please talk to one of us about it, instead of letting it build up inside, there will always be a way to resolve issues and I for one am all about open honesty and level headed communication, so please know that my "door" (Inbox) is always open to talk about anything.
Thanks again and keep up the great posts :)
Jason,
I am sorry to hear of your loss. Your vibrant voice will be missed around here until the real life clouds roll past. Take the time to weather this personal storm and join us again when your are ready to. Until then I'm sending possitive thoughts going out your way.

Well said my friend and I couldnt agree more. Its one thing for a contentious member of the community to fly off the handle and rage quit, its quite another for a well liked and respected member of the community who actively starts and or participates in community building discussions to suddenly post a post like this. Glad to see the outpouring of community support for Jason and his loss, good job PROTF community.
