Recent changes to Techniques are good for Rogues

    Good morning,

While many (casters/healers) have had issues with the recent changes to readiness and techniques, I feel that the change to how techniques work is a great change for a rogue. With the near-instant refresh on the techniques and the ability to expose/exploit, I have found these changes good. With management of readiness, I can use this to expose/exploit an multiple mobs as we move from one to the next. Of course rogues are unique in that we can recharge our readiness out of combat, so issues others are currently having are not affecting me, other than adjusting to the change with some techniques that I now use.

This is, of course, my opinion on the recent changes to readiness and techniques and how I play as a rogue. I hope the overall issue that my caster/healer friends have will get resolved, but so far it has been a great change for me.

Totally agree on the rogue side of things. The quick turnaround on techniques feels amazing, especially when chaining mobs — it keeps the momentum up and really plays to the rogue’s strength. I've found myself pacing fights more tactically now, kind of like threading tight corners inEscape Road — timing and flow make all the difference.
