  I summon Hirode and he follows me, then if I start combat, he stands there, and that's where he stays no matter where I go after combat ends. I cannot get him to follow me again without dismissing and re-beckoning.

  Set Hirode to back off & follow and she will simply follow.

  That's a bug that was impacting pets and shouldn't be acting like that, but is being addressed if it hasn't been already.

  Seems to be fixed with the March 19th patch. Hirode now follows as expected.
