    I have recently seen folks use /stuck to get out of dangerous areas, such as deep in a dungeon, as opposed to fighting there way to safety. Since the /help information on /stuck is "attempts to fix a stuck character by gating them", it would seem as though using it for any other purpose would be contrary to the desire of the developers. Although it could be argued that this action is not an exploit, it could also be argued that it is an exploit. Regardless, I am certain that the developers did not intend for folks to use /stuck to get them out of dangerous areas. Just because you can do something, does not mean you should do it. Any thoughts from the developers on this particular issue?

    I wish I'd never found out about it.  One of the reasons I got so absorbed in the game, and the world, was due to the situation where I had to REALLY pay attention to the route I was travelling, as I knew I'd need to be able to find my way back to town/whereever.   Once I was told about /stuck, the world lost most of its fear and, in doing so, my immersion and absorption in the game.

    The saving grace for me is that I am going to assume that the command won't be so easily in place on actual release.

    I don't mind /stuck... Means I can explore far far away, with the knowledge that I can always get back home just by snapping my fingers... Awesome!

    But, one has to realize that if you get into combat, it doesn't work. So, it's not a get out of jail free card. Also, don't get used to it. Once the game releases, /stuck is gone and will never save you again! Until then... I'm good with it! :)

    The last thing I heard was that by Release, /stuck will be adapted to move your char a short distance from where it is to a relatively safe spot.

    There is a quest line in that looks like when finished will offer a fife of travel, I am betting this will transport you to your bindstone, so when /stuck gets revamped or removed I bet there will be an alternative, ain't no one want to run back with bags full of ore and trees.

    I'm fine with /stuck until everyone gets a Gate spell and Call of Heroes.

    We keep stuck in game until they fix all the holes along the walls. I can name multiple place I fell in to and couldn't move at all. Sure its a cheat some use now, but remember, the game you're playing today is not the game you'll be playing in a yr.
