  Not sure where I died - first death has my money and my bags on it. Died loads of times since trying to find the darn thing. How long before my corpse disappears? I had to log off so am trying again the following real time day. Is this futile and i should just wave goodbye to my silver and bags? or should I keep trying to find it? Yes, I now know not to carry my silver about when i go off exploring! and Yes I have /OOC asked.

  I noticed that your corpse disappears if you log into another toon on the same account.

  It reappears when you log back in on the corpse-specific toon.

  I have seen corpses lying around for a few days rt so I am unsure if there is decay, or if those players came back for their bodies.

  I know, late answer, but still...

  Using only in game tools, type /loc after you die to log where your corpse is. Write down the coordinates and find your way back using /loc while you go. You'll get the hang of it ;) Make /loc a macro for easier use.
