I have enjoyed learning the class.
I do find the wizard spells are really lacking any variety. The game graphics are good. The movement is good the animations are ok. In curbing expectations due to this and EA coming. I want to play a wizard as my main class I am hoping animations, spells and variety are being suppressed. If thus is what we get at launch it may not work for most that crave the wizard class from the original Everquest. I feel the wizard has more Sorcerer spells and no practical spells such as invisibility, levitate, teleport, bind site, entangle or even a light spell. Just seems lacking and I hope it shapes up in the final game. I wish we looked more wizardly with robes, staff, brimmed hat, or cloak with hood.

Some minor sound issues I've seen. Not a fan of undead skeletons and their constant sound audio. It's annoying and they sound more like the walking dead zombies. Make it so you can mute this sound. If you run with armor on it clicks all the time. I don't mind the footsteps but the clinking noise is annoying. Are we going to get actual quests like story driven? I feel more like a grocery clerk skills quests. I have tried crafting I am always a fan of this in any game. I find the jewlery making not as fun. I was hoping the crafted items had a bit more specialization. I would like to see a stamp like made by John doe. Same with any crafted items.

Oh and another note why are necromancer aloud in the city with undead? I hope the guards will slay the undead creatures.

Playing a wizard here too, but at level 3 so far, and having a blast discovering the game. It feels exactly as I expected. Regarding your feedback, I agree on the sound of your running, would limit it to footing only and remove whatever clanking.

Don´t know about spells yet, not enough of them to elaborate a solid feedback. I suppose it would be cool to have a range of DD spells, with different raw damage, casting times, elements and ratio damage / mana. This way you can actually make decisions as a wizard to handle encounters, both in solo and group play. Something that allow you to kill blue monsters with efficient spells to reduce downtime, to cast big, unefficient nukes to quickly dispatch a yellow mob that aggroed you from behind, and such. Regarding utilities of course, they will be welcome, but I wouldn´t like to see all classes here being to do everything. The more unique buffs, debuffs, DDs, CCs, the better for the health of the game imho.

Keep enjoying you wizzie, hope to catch up and see you around.
