These forums don't get the activity they once did, but hopefully things will pick up when we get to Early Access. The best place for chat these days is the Official Pantheon Discord. It's free and fairly easy to setup. Beyond just conversation, the most current, real-time info about server status, bugs, downtime, etc. is available there. Plus tons of players happy to answer any questions about gameplay. Even more important, the support channel there is the fastest way to get help if you have any problems with setting up your game account, downloading, patching or ingame technical issues. So even if you don't plan to spend time chatting, it's worthwhile to set yourself up in case of future problems.
