Everyone thinks is a great idea to see what random creatures would win in a fight and eventually a group of frat boys give it a try. “Throw a snake and a Chicken into a ring and see what happens, what could go wrong?” Then tequila, a liberal amount of mud and . . . substances get involved and what started out as a fight becomes something different.
People start to wake up in the morning and begin talking about how great of a time they must have had due to how many people still appear to be stoned or passed out drunk. Then a raspy cock-a-doodle-do breaks the morning revelry and all eyes turn to a partially scaly chicken with a lizard tail and horizontally slit red eyes, and promptly freeze solid.
So now we know when snakes and chickens fight to the amusement of the crowd no body wins. Now all bow to your Cockatrice overlords, at least if you are not already stone.

This is a bit deep...
But I vote for the kicking snake...

Unless the snake was a boa constrictor or other constrictor type snake of sufficient size (and was sufficiently hungry) it would not see the chicken as a source of food. The chicken wouldn't see the snake as a source of food but rather a predator and would avoid it. So nothing would actually happen.
Now if there was a Chickens of Terminus faction that was opposed to the Snakes That Kick faction, because the chickens saw snakes that could kick as abominations against the natural order of the world, then maybe they would fight. And the chicken, specifically a rooster that has quite sharp claws on its feet, could very well kill a snake. Chickens are quite quick.
Akilae said:Obviously any normal snake would lose to a chicken. Between the talons, the beak and how quick chickens are the snake's strike compares poorly. But a kicking snake would totally trash a chicken. One roundhouse kick to the gizzard and that pecker is down for the count.
The answer isnt quite that simple. A Hen would more than likely lose to a snake. Hens are stupid and snakes tend to be anbush predators. A Rooster though would more than likely win against a snake. Even if the snake could kick. Roosters after all are around to protect the flock when not mating.
Snake! Even with both his kicking legs tied behind his back.
Why - Eastern Brown killed one of my chickens the other day! Just took one nasty DoT, using a combination of natural buffs including... stealth, instant cast time, fast movement speed, extremely high accuracy, no cool down and an extendable range. Ammo is limited but only 1 shot is required per encounter
