There is need of a list of those who may hold insights to the Dragon Accord, or at least the next piece of the puzzle. So far, there have been many who have been called out. List time!
1. Dragons - Obviously, go to the source. It seems some konnw about it and some who do not, but any dragon would at least be a good place as any to start.
2. Spriggan - Many of these were tutored early on by the Ent, born directly from the Seed of Life. The combination of their engulfing time on the world and their ability to travel it with ease using Wandering Stones. Their natural enemy is a branch of Dragon descended from the Wyrm of the Abyss, the basilisks. This gives them an intimate connection not only to the history of the planet, but of dragons also.
3. The Tholen - Very little is known about the Tholen. First, they are the creators of the current calendar used by the major races on Terminus. The calendar has as its starting point the signing of the Dragon Accord itself. Sound like they might know a little something about it? Uh, yeah. Couple that with the other thing we know of the Tholen. The Tholen have in their possession family trees that trace modern dragons all the way back to the earliest days of the planet's history. Sound like they may study all things dragon? Uh, yeah.
4. The Ulfhednari - the Lycandrell tribe of Ulfhednari make their home in Frozja Nochta. The Lycandrell trace their lineage all the way back to one of the earliest gods of the planet: The Twin Head God, Lycus. This god showed his followers a path to "enlightenment" where they could gain wisdom and insight of the planet itself, tapped into some great stream of knowledge. Over time, they lost their ability to commune directly with Lycus in is plane of enlightenment, but some did continue pursuing their goal by continuing to seek the plane and to reach out into the world and attain knowldge of its history from wherever they could. It's said the tribe of the Ulfhednari follow Lycus still and have built up a trove of knowledge of the history of Terminus.
5. The lost research of Narian Castigue - It's out there. The Keeper has give us copies of what appear to be actual letter from Narian to the elven councilmember Kaolyen Greyborne. They allude to research he had acquired and was afraid to share. There isn't much information in the letters themselves, but if his research was to ever be found, it would divulge some information for sure. It is interesting that none of that information ever made it to the general population during the reign of Avendyr, seeing that Narian was from the race of Men. Coincidence? Uh, i don't think so. See fan fiction, Amensol's Shadow: Shadow of the Sun for the real scoop there.
Would love to increase this list so that those of us who search out knowledge of such things have a map of sorts when the world is open to us. Until then, keep digging...
