What happened to completed this week???
They have been saying a new website is coming soon for 4 years. It looks like it was delayed like everything else.
However, I believe it would be wise on VR to make sure the new website is launched by PA5 shakeout start at the latest.
Keep in mind this wont even be a full new website. Apparently its going to be updated in phases.

Eventhough I want the new site up and available, I too feel it will be released with the start of PA5. It would be nice to have an official word about the delay/release for this though.
I guess, the longer the time to putting up the site, the more content will be available when it is up. I know I will be judging the quality of the new site against what to expect with the game, so I am sure VR are trying to get it right.
Finger crossed. Continually optomistic...
The most frustrating thing about the website delay is the amount of pointless, depressing, negative comments it seems to prompt.
They should stop giving any indication of when things will be ready.
It doesn't really 'satisfy' anyone and encourages negativity when there are changes.

We have been told when the PA5 shake out is (https://www.pantheonmmo.com/newsletter/2020_summer_update) and were told in a stream the rest of PA5 will be 'a few weeks' after, so it should be the end of September.
Of course, they can't say exactly when, because it depends on the results of, and work coming out of, the shake out.
We all want to know when. And we all know that it doesn't really help to know, even if they could give us exact, reliable dates, which they can't.

It will only be updated in phases? So, the website that they release won't be a complete website? That's rough. When did they say it would be released in phases? I honestly don’t remember.
I assumed they decided to just line up the launch of the website with the release of PA5 Shakeout.

This is the reality of modern game development. There is no way they can win.
Well, exactly, so they may as well avoid the effort of trying to give dates/schedules/timelines.
They can, however, keep showing progress, which they have.
Then, of course, even though what they show is significant and they tell us they intentionally don't show us more than the tip of the iceberg, people still complain about lack of progress...
As you say, they can't win.

I don't remember hearing that, either. Pretty sure it's just the forum that won't be updated and they have always been up-front about that.
There will be sections of the wesite that will be fleshed out more as time goes by, I seem to remember they said, but the way the new website will work it will be easy for them to build it up once it is in place.

I didnt just pull it from this air. This is from the News section, and Posted date / 08.05.20. I have listened to every stream and it does not say we will be stalling and putting out stuff in sections. It said it would be done in a week. It does not anywhere say it will be released to coincide with the PA5 shake out. It was them dropping the ball plain and simple
@Jaced (completely tongue-in-cheek bard humor). They were going to release the new website today but apparently have gone over their monthly quota of exclamation marks. Perhaps next month.
