The Wurmslayer was cool, nothing epic but different enough that it still after 15 years is on my top best wep ever.

Wurmslayer was pretty awesome Bam. I was also a huge fan of Short Sword of the Ykesha.

Depends on the game and the character, honestly.  Usually a combination of how it looks + what it does + how hard I had to work to get it.

In EQ it was my Sword of Skyfire and later my Fiery Avenger for my paladin

In EQ2 it was Ghoulbane for my paladin

In Vanguard I don't remember the name, but my disciple had a legendary katana that she got from a 6-dot triggered fight at the bottom of Karrus Hakrel that I really liked.

In FFXIV it was probably my Excalibur Zeta for my paladin - primarily because it was such an achievement to get one when I did it.

Key takeaway - Neph likes weapons that he has to work to obtain and that also look cool.  Also, he plays paladins a lot.

Wildstar - "Project Legacy: The Dreamer" (green) & "Project Legacy: The Nightmare" (red)

Green was for support and the Red was for DPS.
This was a reward from an Artifact questline that involved raiding an etc.
The weapon is called a Psyblade and it's only used a focal point for the Esper class.
So it just hangs on your back and does nothing else other then move abit and when you casted skills the item would do a animation on your back.

Yes, thanks for asking. I don't tend to give names to objects, but it was the best X-bow that my first MMO character had. You can see it in my avatar pic on the left side of this post :) It is hanging on the wall, behind my first MMO character in Asheron's Call.

Sharkjaw Cutlass is my most memorable weapon.  It wasn't a popular weapon but it was a weapon that really wanted and I worked very hard to get it.  Took me months from the time I thought "ok, it's reasonable for me to start trying to get this" until I actually equipped it.  I was so proud of myself; I ran around towns showing off (even if most people thought it was ugly lol).

Water Sprinkler of Nem Ankh from EQ 1, the best game ever made.

Unholy Death Knight starting sword (can't remember name of it)

I dont remember the name of it but I always thought it looked unique.  It was in EQ1 in the Ruins of Kunark expansion and was a sword.  The blade looked like a branched out tree.  Also, yes to whoever posted Wurmslayer and Short Sword of Ykesha!  For non EQ1 weapons almost any of the unique weapons by fromsoftware, a couple examples being the Dragon's Tooth, Butcher's Knife, Quelaag's Furysword, Drake Sword and pretty much anything from Bloodborne.

I like the look of the Electrum-Bladed Wakizashi - especially when being dual wielded. I found a bunch of weapons from EQ looked kind of goofy - but not the Electrum-Bladed Wakizashi.

Bolt Pistol and Chain Axe, the one and only way to serve the Bloodgod!
