Ya at some point "soon" isnt soon anymore.
They have been saying the website would be updated since 2015 or 16. They lost their web developer a few years back.
I wouldn't expect the new webpage until the NDA is lifted and we can call the testing forum the new webpage.
As far as the FAQ specifically, this was the most recent info we got that I am aware of by Brad:

The problem is, is that people are being told and recommended to go to the FAQ page to read about the game and see if it's something they want to donate or pledge to. Most of the stuff on there isn't true anymore and have either been completely taken out or altered so much that they don't represent the FAQ answers as much as they should. People pledging with these things in mind are kind of being mislead and under a completely different impression. This could lead to problems if they don't change the answers to the questions, or even add more questions to answer some of the more recent concerns.
I know there are restrictions on what "volunteers" can do and not get paid for it.
I know VR has made statements that there can't be a volunteer guide program like there was in EQ in this day and age.
I dont claim to know specifics (I think its about labor laws and liability) but I don't think its as easy as having someone just volunteer. They have made it clear that is not an option.

A simple search of the fourm would have shown you this, probably wouldent even needed to do an actual search, I bet the last "FAQ needs updated" "the Web Site is out of date" thread can't be but two pages back.

Then stop replying to the posts /shrug. Its either "Search the forum for this info" or "dont revive old threads". It's the same people making both arguments, if you see a subject you know to be a duplicate of something already addressed, dont open it, dont read it, move on.
Baz brought up some of the FAQ in combat this evening...the description of combat action in FAQsseemed to point toward some combat mechanics that we haven't seen yet, right?

I wonder if Joppa saw that question as bean-fishing...anyway, I'm not sure the FAQs are inaccurate but they're very high level answers. Hopefully some more detailed answers are forthcoming with the dev streams. So far, the last 3 months has been full of tasty morsels
