Nice story Neph, and as an aside - I just watched the HBO show Chernobyl. Good show, horribly tragic and then we receive the newsletter about acclimatization - I don’t think there were many environments more toxic.
And now to my point, I think I’d fall more in line with Vandraad that I would want weather/climates to be more behind the scenes - EQ had a few instances of it like the Oasis of Marr (Desert zone) causing you to drink water twice as fast (running out of food/drink was an issue then) or sliding on the ice in Velketor’s labrynth. I’d prefer more ideas similar to that than a glorified DoT that could be mitigated by gear and glyphs - make the system meaningful and deep.
