    I love Brad but I think Joppa would win, as hes been working on all the classes.

    Neither in a group centric game, though a well designed dapper bard would make both look good while fighting to a standstill.

    It might be like the duel I saw once in DAOC between two noted paladins. I wish to this day I knew who won but I had to log off after 8 hours.

    Joppa would win hands down !

    The why ? Joppa is a far superior player and Brad always seems super distracted when playing in the streams and doesn't multitask as well. Plus Joppa is the true King of Pantheon.

    Replying for a friend ;)

    i'd go with joppa. uwudune expressed distaste for pvp XD  whoever wins the duel i would like for them to have the day off with full pay.  screenshots can be easily forged now so i'd like to see video evidence with date and timestamps.

    oh and winner also gets a trophy mug saying 'i pwned (whoever lost)'

    must have a picture of the loser with a sad pucker face

    It would come down to whomever could type the /kill console command faster.  Probably Joppa.

    Joppa easily.  All he would have to do is find a door and close it.  Aradune would be done!

    I'm not sure anyone could withstand the double flamming swords with green platemail.

    He's still a Ranger.  That means he's already dead, he just doesn't realize it yet.

    Neither would win, these are game developers. First they would have to have a meeting to discuss the parameters of the contest which would have to include at least 10 other developers. Than they would have to do internal testing to make sure the parameters are fair followed by patches to fix problems the parameters, followed by more testing, patching, testing on and on and on.

    By the time they go through a few hundred changes they would all forget what the original contest was and it would never take place.

    why does Aradune have flaming swords?

    Not for a damage advantage- you have to get back to the roots, roots that Joppa doesn't even know.

    And we all know Aradune prefers PvE over PvP so.....

    They both start as newbs, level 1, in a dungeon.

    Aradune wins, why?

    They square off, Joppa begins to cast a spell, Aradune takes out his sword...

    and runs.

    Joppa is now in the dark, he cant see. Joppa runs into NPC's and trains himself and dies.

    Aradune can see and runs through the dungeon- fights some NPC's that he has to but he can see them ahead of time.

    Aradune has effectively used the environment by making Joppa fight the environment (PvE) while Aradune explored and adventured in the dungeon and maybe got some loots off the NPC's

    Guys- don't you know that's why Aradune made flaming swords for his uber gm self back in the day? so he didn't have to waste the off-hand slot by carrying a torch to see in the dark~!

    There's stuff out there that can kill you, sheesh.

    if it's dungeon enviroment i'd still pick joppa.   he does the detail work.  i'd even say he made uwudunes flaming swords.

    disclaimer *this is purely satire with no real study*

    i'll break this down a bit:

    uwudune = brad mcquaid

    joppasama = chris perkins

    let us use a popular novel/anime series as a reference: overlord

    brad is https://overlordmaruyama.fandom.com/wiki/Ainz_Ooal_Gown

    chris is https://overlordmaruyama.fandom.com/wiki/Tabula_Smaragdina

    what the- okay i'll retype it:

    chris would clearly win a 1v1.  the man that knows the minutia is going to win.  brad would probably do better in a group pvp fight.

    at least have some supporting points >.>

    Let me link something that may make more sense for everyone.

    Joppa = Spike

    Aradune = Vicious

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgQKVKT3RpU

    Joppa = Winner

    Everyone knows Vicious was powerful but Spike was just better in all regards.
