    Godly.

((it is unlikely that sucking-up sufficiently will increase the speed of development and get alpha to come earlier but it costs nothing to try))

    Diversionary.

They blind us from the fact we hear nothing from the developers about what they think, their opinions, their ideas about this game and its direction.

    Great.

I also love how it gets people riled up. Some think they are owed some kind of response. This is just for the developers to either judge how the core community feels about something or to confirm what they already think. They dont have any obligation to make their thoughts known to anyone. In fact I would encourage them not to let us know. All that can come from it is criticism. Criticism about something that very well may change. They gain nothing by revealing this stuff at this stage. Save it for alpha or later.

    Unscrupulous

he always leaves them so open and leaves us so few words to use, its downright fiendish.

    Patient

(Careful with this one guys. If all in good fun this isn't necessarily against the board rules but personally targeting someone is. As the public facing member of VR Kilsin is kind of expected to take a bit of the negative vibes and gripes but remember Ben is another thinking breathing passionate fellow nerd trying to do his job. So go a bit easy on him personally even if you have legit unhappy feelings about something ATM.)

    Friendly

For obvious reasons, people just focus all their negativity on the only "avaliable" contact they have between them and the unreachable team. Remember Kilsin is simply a community manager, he is not meant to take decisions regarding the game, or to push the team in a direction players are asking for. He manages the forum, keep in animated and because it's a necessity even with grown up people of 30 to 60 years old, a bit of moderation about excesses, agressivity and loop arguments.

Just like people in EQ hated Absor or Abashi, thoses were only reporting changes decided by the developpers/producers but players take it a litteral way and just focus their grief on the spokesman.

Haha, I love this! Thank you <3

Keeping in mind these are created solely by me for you guys so I can promote community engagement with each other and myself and not meant to be taken as distracting or delaying tactics, any official news I have will be posted immediately (or at a scheduled time) not withheld to be released for a CM question, my CM stuff is extra content for you guys to have some fun with or give your thoughts on, essentially giving you a platform for your voice to be heard.

Just for clarity, these are the main themes I use for my CM posts and how I rate them, although some are satirical I still review all feedback and relay sentiments, negative replies, concerns, excitement etc. to the Devs when required.

Community Debate - #MMORPG #CommunityMatters (Usually serious to gauge feedback on current or past issues)

Scenario - #MMORPG #CommunityMatters (a mix of fun and seriousness to see how you would react to certain key in-game moments)

Hot Topic - #MMORPG #CommunityMatters (Bring attention to a Hotly discussed/debated topic so I can get a better feel for where you guys sit as a whole on the subject)

Would You Rather - #MMORPG #CommunityMatters (Purely for fun to see what you would choose!)

In One Word - #MMORPG #CommunityMatters (A bit of fun to see how creative you guys can be while also showing a bit of my evil side picking HUGE topics and limiting you to one-word! haha)

Who Would Win - #MMORPG #CommunityMatters (a brand new one I haven't used yet but it will be for fun to size certain things/NPCs/classes etc. up against each other)

Notice if I ever put an "In one word" post up, if you post more than one word I won't "like" it on Twitter or FB for cheating ;)

Sorry guys, I had to clean the thread up, way too many off-topic posts and the OP requested one-word answers so please try and do them the courtesy of sticking to those guidelines. For those that did, thank you, it is always appreciated! :)
