It looks like the websites FAQ was last updated in 2017. I don't check in often, but I just wanted to get a feel for where the game was at and what to expect moving forward. Is there something updated? Has Alpha started? Is Beta coming? Where can I check to see a summary of what's been going on?

they are working on a new website, should be out by the end of the year with updated FAQ and more I assume.
Pre Alpha phase 4 finished up in Dec
Since then, they have been working on Project Faerthale and still are. When that is complete they will progress to PA5 (not sure how many PA's there will be) then Alpha at some point.
No dates, just waiting. The game seems to still be a couple of years away. but who knows.
Here is the most recent response we got on the FAQ from last Sept...and me asking about it a couple months later with no reply:

It's been a little over 2 months. Has there been any progress on this? Or maybe there are at least some specifics to share at this point?
I think the Forum community is doing a good job at being vigilant FAQ answerers or should I say FNTer'ers (frequently necro-threader-ers) which is encouraged and often stirs up the pot again.
Plus it allows forum people to see what is going on with non-forum people out in discord or reddit and get news they might not get on forums like.....a something something on april 25th :D
The team is aware. As WarKnight mentioned, they are working on a whole new website, which will be released by the end of this year, so it would kind of be a waste of time to change the existing one, since it will likely be overhauled soon anyway. I recall Kilsin once saying there was a FAQ on the Official Wiki tat was more up to date.
