I falldown of course . Player is going to die no sense in dying too :P
I'll assume that my actions are somewhat reasonable, like, that I am sprinting towards the closest zone line and not just aimlessly trying to escape the ratkin. So, if I'm not KOS to the ogres, I can ignore them and just continue running. If I am KOS to them, I will continue running anyway...they're focused on the other player, so I can hopefully get past them :)
Obviously, the usual disclaimers apply, like that I have /shout'ed to the zone that a train to zone might come ;)

Keep running. Aggro mechanics are such that those Ogres won't aggro me while they are still aggroed on the other person..so long as neither of us attacks the other NPCs. We can pass each other safely.

And even more..
If it's the same pathing that 99% of NA MMO's use, while the PC is in motion, the NPC's can't path properly, to prevent server side pathing calculations from introducing thousands of milliseconds of latency to all clients in the zone. Especially with many hundreds of mobs in massive zones, as Pantheon is doing.
In other words, as long as you keep running and your movement rate == their movement rate, they'll never catch you anyway.
It was always a problem in EQ (still is, to this day) when trying to grab enough targets for AE groups.
Until the puller stops, the mobs will path back and forth, round and round, in very short paths, looking and acting ridiculous, all in an an effort to ameliorate the insanity of A*/tile/node/navmesh pathing load and a 2000+ unit leash length.
I don't blame the devs, they do their best with the tools at hand, yet, Vandraad speaks the truth. :)
Need more information. How do ratkin and ogres get along? Is it possible that we could distract them with each other and both get away? :)
I mean, just think about it from the perspective of the monsters. Those ogres chasing that player see him running towards a ratkin boss. The scum! Those filthy rats must have sent the stupid adventurer! We'll teach them a lesson! And the ratkin sees a similar picture as well. And being a boss, maybe he pulls out his war-horn made from the bone of an ogre and sounds the call for backup.
Did our intrepid adventurers just inadvertently start the next great Ogre-Ratkin war? Can they escape in the chaos?
Of course, there's also the chance that the ratkin and the ogres are friends. So they meet up and someone says "Hey Bob. How are the kids?" as they turn to demolish the two adventurers.
Either way, I think it would be much more interesting if Pantheon's NPC behavior in all situations could be more refined, nuanced, and unpredictable than grandaddy EQ.

only cowards run. if i was stupid enough to aggro the boss then i'll die facing the boss.
@Keno Monster
Was thinking the same thing lol.
I would just run pass him...it's not like he will aggro my mob right? Or if there is low hp aggro...in that case I would say GL lol...

could always... as a monk, FD at the right moment and "add" to his pain. /Egrin
As a bard I can “run” away from anything, so clearly I am faking it, limping along while actually pulling Mickey the Mouse-Boss, probably with charm. Will pull right through the big, ugly, Ogres to my group, unless I know the person trying to escape. In that case, set the boss-with-furry-ears to attack the monsters with smelly feet, toss a group invite to my friend and run us both off, drumming and laughing all the way.
It’s good to have options...
P.S. since we have no idea what skills a Pantheon bard may have yet, the above scenario could be horribly wrong. I may have offended the Ratkin with some cacophonous tune, and it is now rapidly gaining on me in the passage as I try to store my prized lute while running scared, looking over my shoulder, and wishing I had heeded Mom’s advice: “put down that instrument young man and learn a useful skill, like feign death!“ Worse, the oncoming Ogre storm may be attracted to my fancy feathered cap and maul me hoping I’ll drop some kewl lewt, completely forgetting about that other guy, who then escapes, laughing all the way.
The possibilities are endless, yet ever entertaining.

Gate
And then of course if I could have gotten his name send a tell asking if I could help with his corpse run.

I'ld try and flee in another direction. If that's not possible I'll delay my death long enough for that player to get passed the roaming location of my Ratkin boss.
And if possible I'll try and inform that player, that they might encounter even more mobs if they keep going that direction.
