The guild helped all they could with harvesting and grouping for the recipies, but it was A LOT of building materials to make. We were racing for a good plot, and I was the only high-level Mineralogist in the guild. It was terrible and exhilerating at the same time.
What a complete waste of time that turned out to be :(

OMG, that reminds me of when my EX Rage quit my friend in real life.
They were playing EQ: We in EC in front of the Nektulos zone entrance. A bunch of DEs hanging out. My lvl 35 DE friend tricked my wife's level 8 character into a duel. All the DEs where shouting "kill her, killl her now!" so after some time he did. Then in real life he was not allowed over to house ever again.
Me and my buddy are good friends to this day.
I think I replied on twitter but never in the forum thread. Oops. I don't know that i can pick any one accomplishment from one game as the best of all time, but here's a few things I'm proud of from each game (since I have the space to list them out).
EQ - Completing my Fiery Avenger and Fiery Defender - during Velious - without relying on a raid guild - just me and my small, casual-friendly guild organizing pickup raids on the places needed to get our epics done.
EQ - Going into Kunark and Velious dungeons solo to rescue groups that wiped, multiple times - just using my paladin abilities, invis and IVU potions, and all my skill and knowledge gained over years of playing to get to them, clear the room, and rez their healer.
EQ2 - Building a casual-friendly guild that could keep up with the raiding guilds even though we only had a once/week raiding schedule.
SWG - Getting contacted by people I didn't know with custom orders for weapons and ship components because "Everyone says you're the best on the server"
VG - Originating the idea of Xeth Faire and proving that community events could work.
LOTRO - Getting my "Defiant" title at a time when most people had forgotten all about that content, and having people stop me and say "OMG, where'd you get that title?"
EVE - Making my wormhole industrial corporation so successful that we were paying out millions in profit sharing to our members every week, and all the while, none of the wardec corps out in high-sec could figure out where we were or how we were moving our products to market.
Wildstar - Establishing Thaydfest as a tradition (similar to what I did in VG, and even getting interviewed by a few fan sites about it.
FFXIV - achieving my Master Armorer title (10,000 high quality items crafted) through simply making armor pieces and putting them up for sale at reasonable prices over time. No grinding, no shortcuts, just working within the spirit of the crafting system to get it.

Getting my ENTIRE family (including wife, 5 kids, and a brother-in-law) their Mythicals in EQ2. Achieving greatness with my family is the most rewarding experience available in MMOs and the reason I play.
