    Hello,

I guess like a lot of people, who already signed up here I am a former EQ player. In my opinion still one of if not the best MMO ever created regarding PVE content. So my questions are somewhat concentrated towards features and concepts that might be considered to reapply for Pantheon as well. I am sorry if some of these questions already were answered. I haven't read the whole forum yet. ;)

    1. I love the idea of having a huge epic quest line to achieve a certain item only useable by one class. Is this a concept you might want to implement?

    2. Any basic concept about your endgame content for the initial release of the game? Are you aiming for raid groups larger than 20 people?

    3. Which concept are you pursuing regarding the leveling system? Do you want to do it like EQ where you explore the world to find level grinding spots, or a questing system like for example WoW? I loved to group in EQ to go to zones together which were so hard that it was impossible to solo there, but the exp was awesome. Another system where you collect all yellow exclamation marks on the mini map and follow an arrow to your destination on the other hand is pretty boring in my opinion and has been done so many times now. I mean let's be real, who wants to collect 10 boar meat again? Especially when I have to imagine, that I am one of the biggest heroes in the world who shall slaughter legendary dragons and then someone asks me to collect five herbs to help their soup tasting better...

    4. Can you please make it relevant again that a group has to actually crowd control mobs or otherwise they are in trouble? I mean it is not necessary for every group of course, but when it comes to higher level areas it would be really nice not only to pull and aoe everything down. In addition I like the concept of having a puller for groups who has the ability to split the pulls etc.

    5. Do you have plans about microtransactions, that are not cosmetic only?

Thats it for now, I wish you good luck with the game I am really looking forward to get a great successor to Everquest and I hope you are able to take over all the good stuff that made the game so enjoyable.

    Hi Necrolord!

    Welcome to the forums!

Most of these questions have been asked and you can utilize the Search function to find other/previous threads.

    3. I think it will be a combination, but likely closer to EQ. There isn't a quest hub with a bunch of NPC's that have ? marks above their head. You need to seek out the quests by talking to the NPC's as you did in EQ.

    4. If you read the core tenants of the game, class interdependance is of utmost concern. They want CC/utility to not only be a thing, but necessary to handle group encounters.

    5. This has been briefly mentioned in the past, but i dont think any official word. The game is going with a subscription model, which, generally, means no microtransactions or cosmetic only.

    Edit: Spelling

Hello and welcome to the community Necrolord, ss you can see, thanks to Senthin, that a lot of these questions have already been answered, some of them many times, and most still have active threads that you read and participate in.

The search function can be found on the main forums page: https://www.pantheonmmo.com/content/forums in the top right corner.

I will go ahead and close this down so we control consolidation and forum bloat and ask that you please use the search function prior to creating a new thread as many of the questions have already been answered over the last 3 years. :)
