Creative Spell Ideas?

    I am curious to test the creativity of the forum members...

    If you had to create ONE imaginative spell, for any class you want, what would it be?

    For me, Cleric: Mass of Purity- when cast, the cleric becomes a mass of pure holy light, increasing movement speed by 25%, mana regen by 25%, and light radius by 50% for 5 minutes.  Any damage removes the effects.

    FANTASIA - Bard song used with crafting

    Creates a magical, musical tune that animates objects and brings them to life. Can be used while solo or in a group. This song is used when crafting and brings the crafting equipment to life so the crafter can work on more than one station at a time.

    When in group the bard can animate group member's crafting stations to life so they can work on multiple stations at a time.

    'Cry Havoc' - a raid environment curse placed on both the raid target and the raid leader, upon the death of either they cry, 'Havoc!', this releases a multitude of mobs named 'Dogs of War', that randomly attack any target, be it players or npc's. The Cry Havoc curse limits movement speed and ignores feign death effects of the raid leader.

    Mana Tether - Necromancer spell

    Target: Player Character

    Type: Buff

    While Mana Tether is active, all spells cast by Soandso consumes mana from the Necromancer's mana pool.

    The spell would create a buff icon on both the target and the necro. When the necro or target wants it off they can just click it off.

    love it.

    this would be amazing if any spell could possibly get out of control, like the brooms in Fantasia.

    this could be a fire spell that spreads out of control to group members, 'grasping roots' type spell that spreads beond the target and essentially becomes another mob to be killed, etc

    Spontanious Combustion = set youself ablaze with a pulsing PB AOE with speed boost where you could run around and pull a group of mobs and look badass doing it.  Maybe you even burn to the ground at the end of the pulses and rise up like a pheonix from the ashes with 50% health and increased residual damage that fades over time.  Better hit your pots and take em out fast while you still can!

    Candy Man = abilty to drop a trail of candy that alters the path of roaming mobs.

    Mod Edit: Consolidated double post, please use the edit function instead of posting right after your first post as it is against forum guidelines. :)

    I still like the idea of the irresistible buff "true north", with a second rank being mass "true north". Although it may be perceived as griefing in its most mildest manifestation. Kind of like the fear spell- but extremely short lived.

    Maybe as a special spell from a hard group/small raid monster. Where the main monster is in the background, but you have to kill its minions, and while this is going on the monster yells "You will all worship me!!" and all the PC's- face north where the monster is and will then have to turn and re-aggro the minion they were fighting.

    or.....face east?

    Dying Breath:

    A self-only buff.  If the caster dies with this buff on, then any group members within range get an amount of health and mana equal to 1/5 of the caster's total health and mana (when full).

    So basically the normal full health and mana of the caster would be split amongst party members upon the caster's death.  This could be a dire lord or crusader buff, depending on how they are eventually defined (the short blurb given for them currently could allow this to apply to either), or possibly a necromancer spell in the future.

    Buff: Self Destruct

    Self Buff

    When casters health reaches 0, a blinding light will shine off the caster forcing him to explode dealing 150% AOE damage to mobs in radius. During the explosion phase..  Any mana left in the casters pool will be distributed to the group. After the explosion caster will have a 5 min debuff "Pick up the peices" because when you blow up you got to put your self back together.

    Ok love that one!

    Class= Warrior
    Name= Adrenaline Rush
    PB AOE
    Effect= + 5-10% to both Strength and Stamina to the Warrior and all those in range (Percentage of each players stats, 5% from a low level Warrior to 10%+ for a high level Warrior)
    Animation = The Warrior Jumps in the air coming down and crashing his weapon (I envision a hammer, but I would assume a sword would work as well) into the ground causing the ground to shake and all affected persons to stagger a second (not to interrupt spell casting) with a report of "Warrior-X recounts his many Triumphs and the masses are inspired with a Rush of Adrenaline"

    LoL this remind me of the Necros in EQ didn't exactly the same thing but in its own right it is since they twitched a lot of clerics so they could complete heal in the chain that they created.
