I am really looking foward to rolling as a halfling druid as well! But the racial reveals have me a little torn, they are kinda meh for a druid class. I'm hoping they get a similar treatment as the elves. Ashen elf seems to be a superior choice for rolling as a druid, though I'm not crazy about passives shoe-horning me into a certain race for the class I want to play.

I feel you. I get that they want to differentiate the races, but they can do it  in a way that doesnt prioritise race when picking a class, especially when not all races have access to given class anyway.

I'm an altaholic and really hope to play one of every race. But... I have yet to find a class I want to play that Halfling seems 'best' for. Moreover, every class I want to play seems to have another race that's better suited (at least since the racial passives came out). So I'm waiting for the racial actives to be revealed, maybe I'll find just the right niche for a Halfling then.

I'm not too concerned with best race for class. Maybe I'm enough RP to like playing as overcoming that challenge :) I will say that I'm not too excited by halfling passives, but their story is really interesting to me.

I am interested in the Hafling one of my favorite races but what I think is really cool about Pantheon Haflings is the starting city in EQ we lived in very basic and bland houses or huts. But from the sounds of Pantheons discription " a winding, vertical and peculiar city built amidst the massive Tower Oaks of Wild’s End." now this sounds fantastic creative and adventurous and the video along with the screenshots look amazing. Every time some new content comes out or I find some new video I havent seen before im amazed.

I've never had any interest whatsoever in Halfling / Hobbit characters but I find Pantheon's version to be an interesting enough reboot that I'm definitely interested in one as an alt. It will depend on what I can come up with in the character creator and for a name to determine if I make a character that interests me.

Halfling will definitely be my choice for my alt, will most likely be a Halfling Ranger :)

I really hope that different Halfling groups (esqap and nothi) are going to be diffrentiated in a way similar to Ember and Ashen elves. Not just in lore, but in passives. Give us a meaningful decision to make during character creation that will have implications later on.

I am, so going to be famous in WildsEnd. It will be home most of the time and I have high hopes for lore and beauty there. Or I'll just help make the place better.
Being a little Halfling sounds like such fun.

Well I'm finally excited to play a Halfling, now that I've decided to make my Ranger one.

I started out trying to choose my Race/Class combos by picking which Race I thought would be most effective at their class. A basic min/max habit from my years of creating characters. But I plan to play a bunch of Classes. Not all, but many. And since day one I have hoped to play at least one of every Race, to see their starting cities and learn their Lore.

Recently I had to face the reality that trying to max the Racial advantages of every Class I want to play will make it functionally impossible to play one of every Race. So with my new perspective, it quickly became apparent that making my Ranger a Halfling is the best choice for me. Life is Good.

(Discovering that my Halfling Ranger will be able to enjoy the antics of Stonefish in Wild's End is an entertaining bonus)
