Anyone else excited to be a Halfling?

I am completely hooked on the lore surrounding the Halflings and it has driven me to decide that I will begin my adventures as a Halfling.

I will probably go the Rogue route because I feel like that would be the kind of Halfling to get out and explore the world of Terminus. (and hopefully they will be stealthy enough to avoid some big spiders or bloodthirsty savages)

What has made you decide on creating a Halfling?

I created a Halfling as my first character in my first MMO, so I have a soft spot for them, and will definitely be creating one in Pantheon.  I like the route they have gone, and the lore behind the race.  I'm hoping for a cool bonus against undead (or at least the wraith type of mob) in game to keep in line with the Halfling history, and like most things am (sort of) patiently waiting more concept art on them :)

I can definitely picture myself playing a Halfling Druid at some point :) It's one of those things where I'm not sure exactly why, but it just feels right!

I am going to have to see what they look like in game before I decide.

I will definitely play a Halfling Druid and a Halfling Rogue at one point or another to recreate my two favorites from EQ.

I love the art and lore. I will play Halfing if Bard is available at release! If not, probably Gnome Enchanter or Ogre Dire Lord.

Saw the concept art and went, "Wow! That's a cool look'n halfling!".  Read the lore and went, "Alright, I'm in................."  Seriously love the lore and concept of this race.  Normally I'll roll a human for my first character, but can't get the idea of running a halfling out of my head.

I would like to play as a halfling because being small makes you live differently, in a way that is interesting to me. You usually avoid playing with your muscles only as others have bigger ones and you count more on your cunning and your wisdom. That's at least what i have come up with. It also reminds me of hobbits.

Theses halflings are really great mordern view of what we are used to  see as "hobbits", but I won't play one myself. Best luck to every future halfling here and there !

I normally would play a Halfling... but I'm afraid the Ogre Druid has me hooked. Maybe an alt!

I've decided to go Halfling Druid, and I can't be happier. The lore, the attitude, the abilities, it's all perfectly aligned to how I play! I cannot wait.

I've decided on Halfling Ranger. I adore Rangers and there's never a question in my mind which class will be my main. I assumed I'd create an elf, but after reading the Halfling lore I'm really blown away by what they've done. I think everything about the game is already amazing and looks to be everything I've been dying to see in a game, but after reading the Halfling lore I was floored. Wood elves or any kind of feral race of elves are usually my favorite to play, but I'm getting all the vibe I want with Halfling. I love how fierce they've made them. I love that their youthful appearance belies this tragic history and a pain they still carry. I love that it's empowered them and they're vengeful against wraiths rather than timid. I never connected with the more hobbit-like Halflings, but always thought they were fun and enjoyed them around. However, I'm all aboard Pantheons take on the race. And in addition to all that, there's no way I'm not starting the game in Wild's End. Zero chance I'm not making Wild's End my first home. I think it'll be awesome to start tucked away in a tree city in the corner of the world and then make my way to the other side of the map. I really hope there's plenty of other people feeling the same way and Wild's End becomes a fun and rowdy place.

I was recently told that I should play rogue for Pantheon, and Halfling seem to fit that role as good as any other... and they are so darn cute!!

Totally agree, the lore appeal was what took up the majority of my decision making when picking a race and I love the back story surrounding the Halflings. See you at Wild's End my mate.

What I love about Pantheon is it has totally flipped my normal expectations and habits upside down.

Usually I avoid healing classes and find halflings boring but I now feel like halflings are the coolest class! On top of that I will probably play a druid :) They look cool, cool lore, what more do ya want?

As of right now, Halfling is my favorite race. I really like this version better than the pudgy barefoot hobbit type.

Yes so much to this. The wild fey type vibe they have going is far more to my liking.

They are fine, but other races excite me more - I'll probably alt one at some point though.
