Some of this is new to me, thanks for sharing! It's amazing that this is pre alpha footage!

    How times have changed!

    Thanks for posting those.

We did remove older movies from our official youtube channel because the movies didn't really show the game in its most recent state.  It was a hard call, because some of the more recent movies *do* show how far along the game is and that there's a real game there with combat, UI, etc... So that's why I don't mind you posting what you did -- I just have to add the disclaimer that the game is farther along now both graphically and gameplay-wise.

Unfortunately, videos take a LONG time to put together, and as a lean and mean team, creating them means taking people away from actually working on Pantheon and having them put a lot of effort and time into the movie.

That said, you will see more movies in the future, and eventually some big movies that showcase more than just a region -- movie(s) that show more gameplay.  In the meantime, please enjoy the older movies but please keep in mind as well *when* they were released (I think the one linked to above was Jul 22, 2015).

    Nifty.

I like the gritty appearance of the environments in this video. I hope they stick to that look for a good chunk of the world as development moves along. For me, it is more immersive than everything being shiny and being made up of every color under the sun. A lot of games seem to have this weird glow on everything from rocks to dirt to trees that just looks fake no matter how high res the textures are. I'm not a graphics junkie by an stretch and still like the original EQ visuals so I'd be perfectly content with the game looking like it does in this video. I appreciate the lighting and shadows displayed in the new Wild's End teaser but I'll probably be turning those effects off anyway for performance reasons.

Glad you posted these Lodizal. It's great footage and a really good video. I have to say that I'm thrilled to see the design take shape and the direction it's going is icing on the cake. I'm becoming a fan of Montreseur's work!
