How to quote

I see a couple of people having issues with keeping their typed message out a quote when quoting someone, so I wanted to help out.

When you quote someone a lot of times you need to press the " button on the top bar to make your message not be part of the quoted selection. The " untoggles the quote format. Here is a picture - hope this helps :)

I think, more often than not, it happens when someone tries to quote a snippet and doesn't move the cursor down to the lowest area it will go. But your solution works much better!

Thanks Zarriya, quoting can be annoying for people who do not know this or who do not click far enough down to the bottom left of the white space to avoid posting in the quoted persons quoted area. :)

On my latest catastrophe in Chaam's thread I spaced it as it should be using Kilsin's method as I always had (but it didn't work) - I never paid attention to the block quote tool haha. Thanks for the head's up Zarriya. My sanity is restored.

I've seen issues with quoting multiple people.

This began happening recently. Do we have any idea why?

We have recently updated these forums and as a result, some functions broke, we are working to fix them as fast as we can, though :)
